Missouri Fox Trotter under 3 minutes EASY METHOD - RDR2

Doesn't work on consoles, or it's daaarn hard. SAVE BEFORE DOING THIS. Arcadia for Amateurs 3 is literally at beginning of chapter 2. As for random event with the lady, I've explained in this video, 2 times... She can appear on several different spots, you need to wait for ridiculous amount of time, if there's already a different random event nearby she will never appear, you can miss her with your rifle or MFT can be already dead when aproach and so many other unexpected things. I've tried everything, have over 2k hours in RDR2, THIS is the easiest way, no matter what other say. That's why I recorded in real time, after finishing the cutscene with Albert Mason it took me less than 3 minutes to catch her. If it's difficult for someone, it's skill issue so for them "easier" way is to wait for that lady for hours, some people for days. Absolutely nobody on KZbin don't have a video catching MFT from the lady in real time, all are edited, why? It took them hours upon hours, so it seems easier, but it doesn't. Cheers 👍

Man this video did the trick. I have been hunting this horse for 2 weeks. Tracking it did the trick. It took 3 dofferent routes and ran me off a ledge to my death but i got it the 3rd time. Thanks so much. Ps5 november 29th 2024

If we talk about an easy way - this is undoubtedly the random event with the woman and the dead horse. If we talk about a reliable way - this is undoubtedly the mission with Albert. But also harder... (At least for me) I have done it both ways because by the time I found out about the first way (the random event with the woman and the dead horse) it was too late. But it was definitely hard, I tried a lot of things and failed. Finally, a guy just showed me the location (without tracking and other nonsense) and I was able to catch the horse. But it doesn't end there... Even if you catch him, you can't just put the saddle on him. Great video by the way.

@@apsurden I have vids about both ways. Yes, I agree this is hard, especially if you are on console, the reason why I switched on a PC long time ago. If you are on PC however, my last vid is about a mod that you can obtain all horses from stables- Ch. 2, including MFT champagne, Strawberry Roan Ardennes, Golden Turkoman, etc. Without braking the game, compendium, achievements,...

I have done this a couple of times...but if its your first time trying this you may not be so lucky...in the video he gets it pretty quick...there are times i have chased the horse for more than 10 mins ...you may get a lot of other annoying things in ur way when you chase this horse...wolfs may attack you..murfee gangs and other annoyings animals in ur way...and there are many places where you will lose the track of the horse and the tracker will reappear after some distance....so all things considered if you really want him first keep a SAVE befor youe start the mission.Once you try a couple of times it gets easy.

The easiest way to get it right away is to acquire a horse reviver as soon as possible after leaving the snow for Horseshoe Overlook. At some point, very quickly, you will run across a lady who’s horse is dead and needs a ride. The very first time you come across this, it’s a MFT and can be revived. If you dont or can’t do it, you won’t get another chance, the horse won’t be revivable after the very first encounter. The hard part is getting the horse reviver right away before this happens because it’s one of the first ones that pops up after you get to Horseshoe Overlook. At the point your at in the game, the dapple MFT is available at one of the stables anyway.

@@LoneWolfFromEast lol, I get her in the same spot every time I redo the story. I always make sure I get a reviver first thing after leaving the north, or you can get one before, because she always appears near Valentine in a certain spot the first time you’re in the area. There’s a couple spots I have picked out for revivers too. You can get a couple before Horseshoe Overlook. It always works for me. Everything has a spawn. I learned this early on because I love the dapple MFT. Like I said before, it’s the first time she appears or the horse can’t be revived. Learn the spawn and the timing and you can get this horse this way very early on without even trying, seriously.

@@americanagothic7851 Ok, I'm gonna try to be clear, I did every single possible thing in RDR2, again, that is a waste of time, you can get her first time or after 100 tries. I was chased by law, didn't had a time to save her on time, other time she was attacked by vultures - dead, other time miss the lady - reload, other time waiting and waiting just to realise o'driscolls were waiting nearby for an ambush and other random events are not gonna happen,and so many other things can interfere with that method. In my video you have her guaranteed 100% first try, maybe not so fast, but you gonna get her, that is if someone don't know how to jump on other horse or never tamed wild horse. You do you, but cannot convince me that is easier, that is pain. Even those which already made a vid about the lady, they are saying they spent all day recording, cheers.

@@LoneWolfFromEast I simply don’t have those issues. It doesn’t matter how you get the horse. This way I explain is very easy for me and I get it to happen every time the same way for the last few times i started the game over again which has been countless times in the last few years. Of course I didn’t start out this way. It’s just what works for me. I like your video and passion for the game!

As of Nov. 1, '24 I got this to work, however after stabling the horse I can't mount it once dismounted and I can't calm it. Anyone else have this issue?

@@LoneWolfFromEast - Yes, confirmed that after a game reload I am able to mount and interact with the horse normally! Thank you, good sir! Just for information - this wasn't quite as easy as suggested in the video. It took me many times, but the time it worked I tracked the horse to exactly the same spot you get her in this video. There were many times where the horse ended up really far east and sometimes really far north. Also, the time it worked for me, I rode past Albert and the herd stopped at the top of that hill, right before the train tracks. I dismounted, and walked over to Albert, keeping the tracking active. The herd stayed there until after the cutscene. This allowed me to catch the horse more quickly because they hadn't run as far. I hope Rockstar leaves this in the game. It's a nice easter egg and is by no means an exploit. It is a way you can truly EARN this horse! Nice video...thanks again!

Brother, this method did not work for me, i play on PS5 and after 2 minutes of me tracking the horse, the horse just despawned like literally the tracks took me far and the horse was no where to be found, the only method that actually worked for me was the STAGE COACH method … blocking the horse path and skipping the cut scene and riding fast as hell after the horse

​@@JoelAybar Mate, it's in the description , this particular glitch don't work for consoles unfortunately , or like you've said, with lots of struggle. I love my PS5 controller, it's an art what Sony did, but I found controls are a mess for RDR2. As a console player myself, I avoid using mods particularly for this game because all other things are working same both for consoles and PC and I plan to make other videos, so it's just fair for all consumers. There is focus button for PC, tracking or dead eye are completely different stuff. On my playstation I need to take out my binoculars, track darn animals , and I lose their tracks so easy, idk why Rockstar abandoned this game completely not fixing basic stuff.

@@GriffenNaif I have ultimate edition, gonna check later what's working. I don't trust those channels which are silent and writing on screen. I noticed several of them are using mods or have a cracked version. Ardennes glitch is not working anymore either.

​@@neilschubek3514 This guy didn't mention anything about PS4, this guy proved it works in real time without any mods. I'm sorry that PS4 controller is completely messed up for RDR2. Instead of crying, you can tell this particular glitch doesn't work on consoles, that's it. But hey, I really wish for ya one day to have gaming PC playing on a 4K monitor with 160 FPS👍. Even on PS5 RDR2 runs on 30 FPS, I have one. Keep your hair on, Mister.
