We do. Every spring and fall and KWHS conchs have a beach clean-up team every weekend for their volunteer hours. This is also only one area of the keys. It just so happens to be "kids from Missouri"

Can vouch for Florida teens doing clean ups as well, I used to be one of them. Clean ups, volunteering at the turtle hospital, rescuing animals (mostly pelicans that have been hooked), local kids do a lot of things down there.

I did a bunch of clean ups and never found drugs. Strangest stuff we found were sex toys and a few hundred in cash. Most of the stuff we pulled out was storm debris after hurricanes on islamorada.
