Fantastic patterns/gifts! Really love your triple play Fridays. I want to tell all you quilters out there, if you haven’t subscribed to Block Magazine - do it now! I NEVER pay for subscriptions to magazines or periodicals - always a total waste of money - until I saw Block - WOW - this is a real deal - worth a lot more than you pay for it. The printing is beautiful, the quilt patterns are clear and concise and doable👍🏻 and suited to so many different tastes - even the size of the magazine is perfect to handle when using to make one of the quilts. And there is so much more in addition to the patterns❣️ (but NO ads🤗) Give yourself a lovely present during this awful pandemic and order Block💝 AND it’s digital👏🏻

Misty, your simple cushion idea has helped me use up so much of my UFO's that were destined for unpicking, I made cusions from the larger pieces and then pin cushions and also filled some smaller sizes with sand for door stoppers, they look great dropped on the floor near the doors. thanks big time, love your work!

Thanks thanks for this tutorial. You all out did yourselves. Jenny what a way to do the braid, and the pillow also out of this world snd Natalie’s is not only like a trellis but also like my stain glass windows that I have and love so much. Jenny I like your hair. It is beautiful. I have learned so much by watching your channel. I want to thank you very much for sharing everything. My mother quilted all the time. Since I retired 3 years ago and now I stay home because of the virus I started quilting. I pieced a Drunkard Patch quilt together and never quilted it and I finished it a couple of months ago and I am giving it to my oldest daughter daughter for Christmas and I made my youngest daughter and my son one and they are getting them also for Christmas. I am making table runners now I made our clothes when my children were growing up. So I love to sew.

Love all three projects! Misty's pillow/pincushion is cute and so quick to make! I never would have thought to make it that way so am probably gonna get those made today! The Rhombus garden Natalie made is gorgeous! Im super excited about that cause I just got my Kafe fabrics and even though I didn't know it at the time I also got the medium sized rhombus template to make a rhombus cube quilt. Now I am also going to use it to make a rhombus garden quilt. Since I am using the mid sized template I will use 2.5 or 3 inch strips to border the fabrics. It was really great to see this pattern made using these fabrics since though they are beautiful they are very busy so it can be a bit of a challenge to make a balanced looking quilt, It is a challenge for me anyway, so thank You for answering some of my questions about that :) It is always nice to see projects that can be made out of small amounts of fabric and when You you all do it You do it in a big way that never fails to disappoint! The fact that these projects are the kind that are for every level of experience is one of the things that I think make them, "Next Level". Bravo & Thank You. Have a Wonderful Thanksgiving...

Love, love, love, Natalie's table runner. I also love Kaffe fabrics and have a yard or 100 in my stash. I think I will have to make one for my table. I used to have a narrow dining table and could not use a runner, but now I have a wide long one and this is perfect. Jenny's place mats are fantastic and I definitely will be making some of those. Great tip to border the braid to stabilize it and also to quilt them all at once on the long arm. Misty's pillow looks so cozy. I do not keep too many throw pillows, but I just may need to make one of these.

Donna Nobel, please explain a little more?
@donnanobel5144 жыл бұрын
@@susanmei9980 Okay, I try: you arrange your charms in two sets 3x6. When you sew those two halfs together you put in the middle third of the seam a zipper. That will end up diagonaly in the middle of the back of the pillow.

I was thinking exactly the same thing. I was envisioning it as looking through a mullioned window, and wondering about choosing fabrics that would kind of make a “picture” of a garden through the window….so the grasses and flowers at the bottom or left hand 1/3 moving up to the trees, and maybe a gazebo or folly, and then up to the canopy of the trees and the sky. Then hang it vertically. I can see in my mind what I want, but don’t know if I have the artistic skill to do it.
