You were the first quilter I found on KZbin. I have watched you since the beginning of your channel and you taught me to quilt. I love your attitude to quilts and that finished is better than perfect. Natalie did a great tutorial on binding a scalloped edge when she did her Q&A series a couple of years ago. You will be missed but I do love watching Natalie’s tutorials too.

The tip about sewing the scallop border on made so much sense do it after it’s quilted which I did do on the only scalloped quilt I’ve done to date , but pulling it straight I’m quite sure I didn’t do so I now have a good reason to make another scalloped edge quilt ! Or placemats or…. Runner or …. Jenny you and Ron have a wonderful trip to Africa . May the mission work be all you hope it to be. Safe travels. What a wonderful opportunity to serve a mission. May you and your family be truly blessed for your dedication to the Lord. I have a good friend in our ward, whose son will be returning in just a few weeks from his Mission in Douala, Cameroon. It has been hard for him at times, and for his companions. There are so many languages spoken there that even after almost two years he is still learning yet another language. Another young man from our ward is serving in Zimbabwe, and yet another in the Philippines. You will have so many stories to share about your experiences in a new book of how people in the world are different, but still the same.
