@@jen-gv7tx This is only my conjecture, but, if Aaliyah's death really was engineered, I believe this was done to silence her by a perpetrator who evaded justice for far too long. Sadly, we'll probably never know for sure what happened, but- assuming it wasn't a genuine tragic accident- I really don't think that jealousy was the motive for any foul play.

The industry and Aaliyah's family was foul. As a sweet as she appeared. She was still a sexaul assault victim. Something just wasn't right. She definitely was being taken advantage of by the people who should have been protecting her. All these adult men were preying on her.

The fact that she even ended up in a position to become a sexual assault victim saddens me. I'm sure that she was still dealing with that internally. From what I have seen and heard she couldn't talk about him, the abuser, and what happened to her 😕 That makes me so sad. She didn't deserve that and it NEVER should have happened. But, she was still a beautiful soul, a beauty inside and out, and an easy-going person in spite of what happened to her.

Aaliyah. She was a deep thinker and forward thinking as well. Her movements were independently thought and was making moves from her family. Her first Trip without them took her life. She was 22. Young and making decisions that made Her happy. No one honestly will ever truly know what went behind the closed doors of the music industry. She knew what she wanted early on and had to go through alot. When she actually got past the r Kelly thing. That took most of the 90s from her she kept going. Her demise is only to me ment to keep secrets and the future of her becoming who she was truly ment to be. And the people she helped along the way. May the justice for her life actually become true and not overshadowed by money and power anymore. She is definitely a missing piece of history and time.

I knew Aaliyah and the musical production team she was heavily involved with during that magical time. She was a very very mature person bc she had a high eQ and a nice aptitude so her communication skills were impeccable. Yet she spoke soft like a baby. She was fly, beautiful and brains snd she had all the men swooning for her over this street but sweet vibe she carried. She was simply ahead of her time and i remember her and Kidada were the perfect duo. They were hot like fire together and all the boys and men wanted them both. They had every man gagging. They were like nobody else. So yes everyone who met Aaliyah was in love with her. And I do mean ALL the men. I rarely saw men not under her persuasion. They would do anything for her. I use to jokingly wonder if she did candle work low key at a time bc it was just so uncanny. It’s hard to explain the look in men’s eyes when they looked at her but she had IT. And she had it really early on. As far as the beef with all her old friends, it was label beef. He said she said… creative differences bc she wanted to now work with my friends and create her own sound vs the old Timbaland sound. She had nothing against him, she just wanted something different once she heard Ststic and Keybeats sample songs and she went about her last master piece on her own. This begin to cause a rift in between the friendships. Genuwine was more upset over the lack of support he was getting from Blackground where as all the money and marketing was going on Aaliyah’s new Red Album launch and the Romeo Must Die Soundtrack. Genuwine just begin to feel left for dead as his career was starting to lose some fuel. This label tension eventually caused some tension between the two as he begin to act out and it was becoming personal towards her. Saying some wild things that were disrespectful. Thats Genuwine for you though. And that DC mouth …Timb and Missi just wasn’t happy that their sound was no where on the album. This album was all Rapture, Eric & Static mostly and they together captured her new ADULT sound perfectly. I’ll never forget this time in life and all of them in the studio. She was filming another movie (QueenOdTheDam) and working on the RED Album. Missi & Timb were really an integral part of her teenage sound. That vibe was coming to an end as the 2000s were ringing in something new and static and key beats were producing for people all over the radio bringing that 2000 sound right on in. Blackground Records was on fire … Out with the 90s in with the 2000s and she was on the new wave. This was hurtful to some. To make a long story short, creative differences was what truly caused the rift. Adding in Dame’s messy big mouth boss type advice at the time. He was adding fuel to the fire as well. Encouraging her to think differently and stand up for what she believed her sound should be. Timb likely still in love found Dame a bit instructive to the supa friends bubble this team had put together … and now here’s Dame adding his IDGAF energy and advice into Aaliyah’s head and she would listen to everything he said. She respected him snf his street but business savvy so much. She was simply growing up and doing things her way is all. She wasn’t the soft spoken little kid who sang whatever you wanted her to sing anymore… She was becoming a movie star at the same time. She simply was outgrowing a lot of things let’s just say… she wanted smooth sex appeal things at the label begin to get a little snippy. They would’ve all made up once that album was out I bet. Time heals all wounds. The only thing I always wonder about is the 90 Mill payout Barry got after her death. That’ll never sit smoothly with me. Then him holding her music hostage for 20yrs is unbelievable. I can’t believe Static & Aaliyah are gone. I miss them so much. And they both died by the very things they were petrified of right before their demise. He was terribly scared of dying in a hospital snd refused to go to them and she was deathly fearful of little planes and refused to get on them when she didn’t have to. They both fought before going into their situations and both died by their biggest fears while both being out of it. Heavily Sedated So wild to me. Not saying it’s a conspiracy but it’s just unfathomable yo me till this day. They were in love anyway and now together forever. RIP Angels 🧚🏽🧚‍♂️✨

I read that Aaliyah wanted her 1st Single off the Aaliyah album to be 'Lose Rap' but the record company went against it and released 'we need a resolution' which she was not happy about. If I am not mistaken, Timbaland said that after a certain point Aaliyah would not record without Static. Do you think the bond between Aaliyah & Static started when they had to record 'Are you that somebody' in a few hours before handing it over for the sound track.?

Wow that’s deep. Thank you for sharing! I didn’t know Aaliyah wanted to part ways with Missy and Timb. I also didn’t know she wanted to be more sexy and have a different sound. And I also didn’t know she was working on a new sound with Static! I’m not aware of the stuff going on behind the scenes in the industry I only can read peoples energy. I could tell Aaliyah wasn’t happy but I didn’t know why. I always thought it was her time but now I realize it wasn’t. She had so much to give to the industry. Movies , songs , music videos, awards . Aaliyah was about to really be big. They took that away from her. And it sickens me. Like Mary J Blige said on 106 and park that was a spiritual murder. There’s so much going on behind the scenes in the industry that no one will ever know . And it’s not fair to the fans because they are funding these peoples careers.

I feel Timbaland was honest about his natural emotions as a man, and was a rare example of keeping his arousal in checked. He didn’t go through any loopholes to manipulate Aaliyah as many others have done in the entertainment industry. He chose to be her big brother instead. I feel that deserve some credit. Aaliyah was truly a very fine magnetic young lady, so for any man to say they wasn’t ever sexually attracted to her, especially in their early 20s would be insulting to our intelligence.

She also had her enemies and fake friends that she didn’t know who should she could trust so she fell back from all and decided to focus on her career and finding peace within herself. These big time men wanted her and if they couldn’t have her no one could. Certain women wanted her spot so they did things to try to trip her off her game. She couldn’t trust anyone but her team. However there were snakes in there too. Who takes an unconscious women onto a plane without her knowledge??? That’s just wrong. Who slipped her that pill? Who took her original plane that was given to her by Lenny kravitz? Who gave the ok to the pilot to drive that plane on drugs and on alcohol? Why were they so adamant on her getting on a plane she refused to get on? I’ve been doing research since I was 8. I’m now 30 years old and feel like her case should be reopened… her uncle was paid 90 million for her death. Why are all these people afraid and keeping quiet about this stuff. Call up all of them and lets see how it plays out.

The song "I care 4 U" was actually written in 1996 by Missy Elliott and Timbaland for Aaliyah second album "One in a million" but, was set aside due to the number of tracks already on one-in-a-million. I care 4 U was re-recorded in 2000 and added it to her self title album. As far as the fallout it was really surrounding disagreements that Timbaland and Missy had with Blackground records , which Aaliyah was signed to and was owned by her uncle. She was also leaning towards a different sound for the new album. The majority of her self titled album was produced in Australia, and was pretty much completed in Australia. From other sources that I've read Aaliyah reached out and had to convince Timberland to be a part of the album after the so called fall out , by this time the album was pretty much done. The amazing Static major did a lot of producing and writing on the album. Timbaland was only has involved with a few f the new tracks on Aaliyah's 3rd album such as more than a woman, we need a resolution, and I think he collaborated on one other one. The details surrounding & leading up to that tragic plane crash ending her life and the eight others is all very sad and intriguing. Who knows if we'll ever get the answers that were looking for to find out what really happened that took her from us. She was truly One in a million , can't even imagine where she would have gone had she been able to live out her life. R. I.H Baby Girl❤

No it's not. I saw footage of Aaliyah at 16 and she was super charming and quite grown up, could've passed for 20 easily. Being in love with someone isn't a crime and a lot of times you can't help falling in love. Can you control falling in love? I know I can't. But that doesn't mean all you want is smash. Love can be innocent. It would be a lot more flipped up if aaliyah was 16 but looked 11, that's more of a tricky territory.

Aaliyah was passed around the industry as a child and probably realized it once she became an adult. 😞 She may have confronted some of them she trusted after the fact. Side note- I’ve noticed men in the industry like to to fixate on certain females and wait in line to take a turn 🤢 or brag I slept with your girl to get cool points from peers. Aaliyah was very beautiful and seemed to also be a kind but confident and unique person. She seemed very special, and I think the truth is that it is to be expected that people would easily be attracted to her and even fall for her. But she was a human being-- a CHILD for most of her career, even if she was beginning to resemble an adult woman-- and did not deserve to be exploited, especially when she was too young to fully understand the things that adults grow to understand about the world. At least Timbaland hopefully did not try to act on his attraction, unlike unscrupulous, entitled people like R. Kelly. Which of course is the least that could be asked for. I have to imagine that Aaliyah was probably flattered but at the same time a little overwhelmed, confused and probably uncomfortable by the attention she attracted but, again, it's understandable that people would be so attracted to someone as special as her. P.S. I don't believe Aaliyah's death was a pure accident, but I don't believe she was murdered either. I believe the pilot, the airline company he worked for, and the people in her team who demanded to all be flown on a plane that was too small were all guilty of criminal negligence. I'm not sure if i believe she was unconscious when she got on the plane-- this claim is based on the testimony of one alleged witness and cannot be verified beyond that person's word-- but I have no problem believing she was hesitant to get on the plane. She didn't want to board the flight from Miami to the Bahamas a few days earlier, but she was evidently talked into it and told she was being unreasonable. Its not hard to imagine this same thing happening on the return trip. Unfortunately i think she was gaslit into ignoring her instincts and succumbing to the pressures the industry and her team had her under. And, finally, let's all acknowledge the fact that Mary J. Is still alive and kicking 20+ years later. Her remarks about supposedly being "next" were the result of her own paranoia and irrational thinking, not some deep inside knowledge of Hollywood death cults or anything.

Someone told someone to give her that sedative. And I believe, the call came from the states to someone that was traveling with her because I think it was reported that when she refused to get on the plane, she made a call telling "whoever it was" that she refuses to get on that plane. That person, whoever it was, must have directed someone who was there, to give her a pill and put her on that plane. I don't know if timing was an issue and she had to get back, or what? But timing was also in one of the reported "rumors" as well as a rumor that someone told her that Dame was in some kind of trouble or an accident. At that time, I believe Dame and Aaliyah were dating. So if someone told her that, she probably would have insisted on getting back to be at his side, but drew some concern about the plane and demanded for another plane or another pilot. For whatever reasons though, THE ISSUE was that "it was important that "She had to get back" and there was no other flights leaving the location. Aaliyah, it was reported, that she even suggested that the plane take some of the crew, while she waited for another flight - but "someone" insisted that everybody, along with all of their gear, get on THAT PLANE! So yes, it was a "hit" imo. Because they gave that child a pill, slipped it to her, and without her consent, without her knowledge and without her own self control, put her on that plane like they did all that luggage and gear, and killed her. Now what bothers me the most is that, the 8 other victims, didn't have any concerns about getting on the plane? Were any of them "knocked out" as well? I'll tell you who knows something, Aaliyah's choreographer, what's her name? Roshamba? Rasheeda? Botswana? Oh somebody knows the truth. And what possibly could Aaliayh have known that was so secretive that she had to be murdered over, that other people in the business around her didn't know also? I'm pretty sure that if Aaliyah knew "it", so did Missy, so did Timberland, and probably a whole bunch of other people, whatever "it" was. But definitely, she was sacrificed, I just don't know for who, or for what purpose? It's almost like, when it comes to our artists and entertainers, we can't ever have multiple mega-stars all rising at once, or all being great during the same time. There's always some pecking order. And whoever the industry chooses as our number 1, there's always someone on their side who our number 1 has to be compared to, or go up against. Some have speculated that babygirl was deleted in order to make room for Queen Bey's rise. I don't know? I just know that, when I was growing up, there was ALWAYS more than one artist to shine. I remember during the earlier days, there was Usher and Tevin, Tracey Spencer, Mona Lisa, Aaliyah, Brandy, Monica and Shanice. That dwindled down to Usher, Aaliayh, Brandy and Monica. I realize that artists come and go, and some are 1-hitters, but we seen it with Whitney, Michael, Prince, Luther and Anita. Now it's just Anita! Our artists, get taken out or forgotten. They murdered Sam Cooke, Marvin Gaye, put Teddy P in a wheelchair, put Donny Hathaway on a plane also didn't they? If you can make it, that in and of itself, is a true testament of worthiness. But everyone is worthy imo, and I just feel like they didn't have to delete Aaliyah for what she knew, if that was a factor (not saying that it was), because I don't think A) She would've said anything, because afterall she was tight-lipped about her and R. Kelly for years, and B) she couldn't possibly have known something so deep that others in the industry didn't, so why choose her over them? I think, she was murdered and I think whoever did it was getting back at someone connected to her. And too many people loved her or was IN LOVE with her, so the murderers knew exactly who to strike to cause the most hurt. The only question is, WHO were they trying to hurt or intimidate that was associated with Aaliyah?

HYPE WILLIAMS snatched and boarded another plane set to Islands by Lenny Kravitz...... Aaliyah was told Damon was in a horrific accident in Miami hence why she wanted to get back soon but had BADDDD feelings about that PLANE. Lenny Kravitz sent her a replacement and HYPE WILLIAMS hijacked it and after giving sedatives she was place on the BADD plane.....Dancer/Choreographer Fatima knows a lot also hence why we don't hear from her anymore. Aaliyah was a triple threat and also knew all of the industries dirty lil secrets so she had to be silenced.

Some people ask why isn’t her mother and uncle ever held accountable for how they mishandled her. They served her up to R Kelly and kept quiet after obtaining his rights and early mastered of which they still own. It’s why they didn’t participate in Surviving RKelly. That messed up their money. So Aaliyah is running around with Dame Dash who educating her about the things I just mentioned. She started to rebel pulling away from her mother, uncle and anything they were involved with. That meant Missy and that whole crew. So I’ve heard. She was ready to start talking. Some people couldn’t have that. This also meant JayZ had to get as far away from Dame as he could if he would become Hov. Those 90’s studio walls used to speak. But I said enough.

It was definitely the label who murdered her. I remember a video coming out back then of one of the employees at the air port and he called the label and told them the plane had too much stuff on it, that it will not hold if they take off, and he said the person on the phone said to let her get on anyways and to not tell her about the weight issues. I understand what he would’ve said, but as a human being who knows their job and has a soul, I would’ve told and took the consequences, because now this man has to live with it for the rest of his life, that he could’ve saved them all if he would’ve stopped it. Supposedly she wanted to leave the record label and go somewhere else to make the type of music she wanted, and being she was their money maker, her being dead was worth more than losing her all together.

All the men in the comment section trying to justify attraction towards a 16yo girl are just exposing themselves. A man with a good heart knows those feelings are immoral and would reject them with all his will. It doesn't matter how ""womanly"" or mature a minor *looks*, that is EXACTLY how predators talk.

Aaliyah wanted out of the ILLUMINATI when she found out what they where really about, and they where not having it. It was something they wanted her to do, and she would not comply to the bullshit. They had been trying for a while to get Aaliyah. When they new she would never do what they wanted they made way for BEYONCE. And let me remind all of you if you did not know. Her uncle Barry Hankerson, and her damn Father changed the INSURANCE POLICY three months before she died. Her Uncle received 90 million dollars from that policy. And Im not sure how much her parents received, but it was in the millions. Aaliyah's mother was a total BITCH. She pimped her daughter out. And her mother was jealous of her. Aaliyah gave her mother the life style she dreamed it. She did not make in the music industry, so she pimped her daughter out. Also she was sleeping with R Kelly at the same time Aaliyah was. She wanted everything her daughter had accomplished she new what was going down from the moment she died. They all new about that shit. Mary J Blige was the first celebrity to admit that Aaliyah was murdered. Dhe kept saying on just about every forum she went on, until the ELITE SILENCED HER.

She knew too much and because of her independence, they were afraid she would become a whistleblower and they couldn't take that risk. That's what happens to many of the fallen in the industry. When you know things and are a threat to the powers that be, it's over. She would have been bigger or at least as big as Beyonce'. RIP Aaliyah!

Til this day, I'm still sad about Aaliyah's death. It was so many different stories. Like for one in particular, her choreographer Fatima. She had mentioned that she had gave up her seat because Aaliyah was so eager to get back home right away. If that was the case. Why did she had to be drug up to get on the plane? We will Never know the real truth. Rest In Peace Baby Girl 😢

I hate when people say stuff like this, the only thing about her death, or the event that occurred that LED to her death, was the fact that she refused to get on the plane, got a headache and and went back to the cab where the driver was, wanting to take a nap, then watched as a member of her crew gave her a sleeping pill and put her in the plane, I believe it because there was a witness, Aaliyah was never set up or was a victim of jealousy that led to a plan for murder.

Timbaland said that him and Aaliyah fell out because he wanted to produce all the music on her third and final album Aaliyah and recreate magic, like they did with her sophomore album One In A Million, but Aaliyah wanted to work with different producers. That's why We Need A Resolution was the only track Timbaland did on her last album. It's also why he started off that song saying "I'm tired arguing, girl". He was speaking about their feud.

But the difference between Timbaland and R Kelly is that he controlled himself and didn't act on his desires. Big difference, and thats what grown men do. Now about his wife....i dunno how to feel about that if if my husband admitted that on recording, I'd be humiliated. I love my girl Aaliyah, but we can’t ignore the fact that her being coerced to marry a grown man most likely left a lasting effect on her. Like WHYYYY would she want to date old ass men like Jay Z or Damon Dash, when men in her age range (Ginuwine) wanted her more than anything. She passed 9 yrs after her marriage annulment…..how much can a person truly change if they are constantly around the same predatory energy

Ok I’m spectating but I think the falling out with Missy and maybe Tim was over Aaliyah’s new persona.. if you think about before 2000 no one knew much about her life outside of the R.Kelly thing but around the late 90s/00s she was really starting to branch out. she was hanging with new friends and being in the public more with whoever she was dating and it wasn’t a secret that she liked older men and older men definitely liked her.. Maybe the falling out was because Tim and Missy became overly protective of her, remember they started working with her after the whole R.Kelly thing. Maybe they didn’t that she was out there much more and like most early 20 year olds she wasn’t trying to hear someone telling her what to do..

Sex trafficking and forced sexual relationships have been in the industry for many years. I know Quincy Jones broke Michael and Tevin in the circle. It’s not just Hollywood directors, producers and actors, it’s also the music 🎶 Industry labels and studios that prey on the unsuspecting. If you’re not prey then you can’t play. Check Justin Bieber story. They passed him around like a joint and there is video of forced oral that he is performing. There is no illuminated, it’s a sexual predation game if you want to be famous or wealthy.
