Sheldon and Missy need each other right now and yet they can't be together for Sheldon's future.... (sure, Sheldon probably doesn't realize the damage he's going through, but California wasn't actually good for his mental growth... he needed his family more than he realized... it made him back track and become more immature). Ironically, all this extra responsibility is probably what's keeping Georgie together..... it's giving him a purpose and giving his strength... If Sheldon was able to stay in Texas during this period of time, he and Missy would have probably have been more mentally alright by the time the year matched the BBT.....

All great points. Also, Missy's actress is very good. Also, I get it's a sitcom, but Mandy hanging up on Missy when she was about to confide in her is super messed up. She's a greiving teen who lost her father, both her brother's are out of the house, and she's gotta deal with Mary and all her annoyances. I'm glad Georgie is there for her. I wish the writer's would've let Missy and Mandy have this bonding time. Not sure what their relationship was like in BBT.

Remember when Sheldon was deciding on which college to go to and when he was thinking about it he said one of the colleges could be a good choice because it was closer to home. But then Missy asked why does he have to be closer to them? But in this scene, Missy cried because not only did she miss her dad but she also missed her brother. Missy and Sheldon may not have the best relationship but they are twins and they love each other. These are the moments they realize how much they mean to each other.

I'm getting really upset about how Missy is taking a nose dive. The writers need to come up with Missy's super power fast or else there will be complaints fans because Sheldon belittled his sister to the point of making her out like she dumb, had no class and had loose morals. Just horrible how they set Missy up.

The multi camera format of the new show usually requires some weird set designs to make enough room for all of the camera sight lines. It leads to weird wall angles (Look at the TBBT apartments), unrealistically large rooms, (Friends usually gets sighted as the worst example of this), and odd furniture placement, because you only have three walls instead of four.

I wonder if after this show ends we’ll see a flash coward, like in Young Sheldon, and we’ll see Mandy and George get back together. Maybe George hasn’t told Mary he’s seeing Mandy since he’s afraid she’ll be upset since they divorced, (since George isn’t married in the main show), so Mary thinks he’s seeing some crazy girl, hence why she won’t give him the family ring. (Though she didn’t give it to Missy either, so maybe she was just making excuses to give it to Sheldon).

A mother whose entire world revolves around one child but the rest of the kids particularly "this one" kid is out on its own. There are actual parents like Mary Cooper and this is the reason why I regarded Mary Cooper as a bad parent throughout the show. Yes, she did everything she could for Sheldon but the rest of her kids (especially Missy) was virtually inexistent to Mary....and Missy communicated this countless times without any change or improvement. Poor kid.
