The Diamonds didn't try to heal the corrupted gems before because they thought Pink was dead, and that their blast had shattered all the gems on Earth. (Even if they had known that the gems on Earth had been corrupted, they wouldn't want to try healing them - they believed that pretty much all of the gems left behind were Crystal Gems, and thus indirectly responsible for Pink's death. )

Explanation on Corruption xD White, Yellow, and Blue Diamond blasted the Earth with their powers...their intention was destroying/shattering every gem on Earth..they didnt care if there were still Homeworld Gems..Pink died..they were all hurt... But since the blast was 3 Diamond (White, Yellow and Blue) not all 4 (including Pink) The 3 diamond blast corrupted.... not destroyed...they left Earth thinking there werent any gems left.... Imagine Pink joining that diamond blast...yeesh
