I did this last Sunday…also made to the hot spring😊. Got a general question, is there any ‘AllTrails rated hard’ trail good for rainy days? Seems it’s gonna be raining this weekend

6 kms one way with elevation gained is just awesome , thats like every km - 220 metres gained

Not yet. Seen lots of bear evidence but nothing on the trail yet.

Looks worse usually on GoPro, and Harlan probably deliberately walks close to the edge.. to make some of us uneasy :)

I heard this is a pretty difficult scramble. How did you find it?

I didn't find it bad at all. I think there is a harder route that some use but the one we did was straightforward. Mostly an easy-moderate hike.

When we did Mist we didn't go up the scree area. We went up farther to the right to an unnamed summit then crossed over to Mist. Not much scree.Very fun to come down the scree route though. I would say when doing West Rundle it is a long trudge through the forest for quite some time before you start to head up the Dragon's Back. Amazing views up top though. Enjoy!
