hey lads, ive just turned 15 and im REALLY dedicated to join the royal marines when im 16 but my parents want me to wait till im atleast 18 and have my a levels so i can become an officer and get a job after my service. i have told them i can get a trade sometime during my service so i can get a job after. just wondering what you think would be the best thing to do as im worried my burning passion for the marines will be gone if i have to wait atleast 3 years to join. (ive been training for about a year so far trying to be ready for my prmc and other assessments by 16). cheers for the videos and advice, you have helped alot.

I would continue my education first mate, get your qualifications. Then you have the option of going enlisted or going in as an officer. If you really want it then that passion won’t go away. Good luck mate 💪
