On ROP we did ours after a warm up that was more of a thrashing. Later that day we did the 3 mile test booted, it wasn't pass or fail but the training team made notes. Think the next day we did a determination test beasting and a savage pool session later on. BIG thing is being pre fatigued and always doing a bit more than anticipated. Mind games.

Its nice to see that this test hasnt changed (much) over the years. I joined in 96' and did the same test with the only difference being 21 burpee's and a 350 mtr sprint in 50 mtr shuttles added into the test instead of the bleep test and I believe it was known as then as the USMC basic fitness test

Harder than it looks to be fair for those attempting it for the first time. Technique is everything. Im heading to CTC for CPC at end of june. Currently at 85 sit ups, 60 press ups and 11 pull ups all on beep - Hitting level 11 on beep test but desperate to get it higher. Good luck to anyone who is going through the motions for the services 🙏🏻🇬🇧💪🏻

Have the times for the 3 miler changed recently? On the MOD site it says 1.5 miles in 15 mins and the next 1.5 miles in under 11:15 mins!? That's for the All Arms Commando Course. Or is that different to the PRMC for civvies? So confused.

Did a full rmfa run through with minimal rest at local athletics track & gym. VO2 11.2 (shouldn’t of ran yesterday and saved the juice for today) 60 press ups 65 sit ups (usually 85 but core was fatigued possibly from run) 11 pull ups. 3 mins rest/adjustment time between exercises. Not my best results by far but okay for now

I'm on that CPC as well mate. Good scores that, I'm at about lvl 11.2 on bleep as well but that is max for me. 55 for Pressups, 85 Sit-ups and 11 pull-ups. Nerves setting in a bit now for tomorrow lol.

That runs a bit spiker than my usual efforts. I run mostly 10-20k at 5:40km pace or 9:00 mile pace. Great effort. I'm not fast but I can keep going. Strength is my focus this year can't do many press-ups or pull ups. I'd fail mightily at the moment. 😂
