i find it funny how after all these years the first actual reed from 2005 is still the best we’ve seen in live action. i mean i know we’ve barely seen krasinski let alone pedro as reed but if we’re just going based off looks the 2005 actor Ioan Gruffud is still the best. krasinski and pedro are older and bigger. they’re husky guys, they’re masculine. we’ve already have plenty of that with guys like captain america and thor. reed is suppose to be the nerdy scientist, i mean his whole thing is that hes always been the untraditional hero. he’s all brains and no bronze. he isnt strong, he isn’t charming, he isn’t the “handsome hero” here to save the day. he’s the guy who’s so smart that he becomes arrogant and puts his work before his family and people around him. that’s what makes him interesting. that’s also what makes sue so important because she’s the one who brings him back to earth and makes him care. if you don’t have that kind of reed then you also won’t have that kind of sue and thus the dynamic between them will be weak. and everything that makes the fantastic four the fantastic four isn’t there. i hope pascal can play his role but unfortunately he’s already at a big disadvantage given his looks. i really hope we can see reed as reed and not pedro in glasses and a lab coat. reed is one of the most popular superheroes ever. he needs to be done right. you look at robert downey jr and you know instantly he’s tony stark. you look at chris evans and you know that’s steve rogers. you look at pedro pascal and well… he’s just himself. he’s not reed until proven otherwise.

I'm still salty about Marvel not bringing back John Krasinski as the official Mister Fantastic for the MCU Fantastic Four film. I feel like he wasn't really given a fair chance in DSMOM, he's the only member of the Illuminati that wasn't even vaguely familiar with the role and probably has the least amount of screentime out of the members too. It really hurts that Marvel gave Krasinski the most important line in the Multiverse Saga with the explanation of the incursions and according to Krasinski, Marvel didn't continue to speak to him after DSMOM. He literally has everything to make Mister Fantastic the next guy for Marvel to build around just like Iron Man, but they didn't really give him a chance.

He was meant to be a cameo nothing more they never offered him anything more than that the only reason he was cast as the variant of Reed Richards was to finally make the fan cast a reality and then swiftly get rid of him, he was never contracted to return for the mainline F4 movie

Please read this!!!This FF film is meant for failure. The actors they need to make it a success are as follow-Reed Richards by John Strazynski, Sue Storm by Charlize Theron, Jonny Storm by Glen Powell and Ben Grimm by Andrew Dice Clay. The Silver Surfer played by Keanu Reeves and Galactus played by...wait for it...Mel Gibson.(the man some people like to hate)...and directed by James Cameron!!(although highly unlikely)!!...or a director as successful! Chris Columbus or Michael Bay. As for supporting characters- Mike Colter as T'Challa, the Black Panther, Mark Strong as Dr. Doom and Dwayne Johnson as Namor, the Sub-Mariner, Prince of Atlantis. And you can have the She Hulk (but playing it straight...without the breaking the third wall concept..and working side by side with Ben Grimm as her mentor)) and Conleth Hill as the Watcher! However you still need a good screen writer and a writer who is steeped in Fantastic Four lore who could work rogether to create a great script. The story is direct from the comics...where the Silver Surfer arrives on earth as Galactus Helad and descides to save humantiy in defiance of Galactus after spending time on earth.
