This is really good. I was surprised to see how few people have seen it--but then, the Silmarillion is a little more underground than LOTR. Amazing work nonetheless.

The painting is the ancient elven city of Gondolin, the most beautiful city ever constructed in middle earth. The music is absolutely beautiful. Ty.

There’s something surreal, almost mystical, woven through this music. It stirs my thoughts, drawing me back to how this place might once have been. Endless plains of nothingness, when the first Valar roamed and played upon the earth, untouched and unshaped by time. How different it was then, melancholic in a way the present cannot touch. Now, we chase shadows, invisible goals empty shells that dissolve in our hands. Yet this music holds it all the story, the truth, the echo of what once was, before the age of men, before the divide of good and evil. It hums with the pure essence of life, the deep solitude of a world unbound. Perhaps it is only me who feels this way. But through these notes, you can feel the true purpose of being, just to be.

I've been really wondering whether this was just a random acc reposting a soundtrack with a Silmarillion image. But it makes sense it is an original work, cause you really captured what this painting is in music.

I read it for the first time not so long ago. I think its a beautifully written book but it can be overwhelming at times. I recommend you use the maps and family trees at the end of the book to navigate the story. Enjoy!

Music can be created digitally without using AI, for goodness' sake
@liamwilson75492 ай бұрын
@@Prismatic_Truthyou should hear what ai makes, it sounds very similar to this. Need to be more careful these days with people claiming to be artists when all they’ve done is use ai.
@Z4nnibal19 күн бұрын
@@liamwilson7549 Yea, at this point I always assume these recently uploaded ambient tracks are AI generated, especially if there's an upload every day. However, the best way to find out if an artist is real is simply to check their history. This channel's owner has been uploading for 4 years, which is longer than good quality AI music has been around. And if this guy is either rich, making his living with music or unemployed, making a simple and minimalistic ambient track (which is then looped for an hour) every day is by no means impossible. As a musician myself I find it difficult to believe that someone who has the skill to do this on their own would resort to using AI. But if you see an "artist" who has absolutely zero history before 2023-2024 and who just appeared out of nowhere with pro-quality work, it's pretty much safe to assume there's AI involved.
@liamwilson754919 күн бұрын
@@Z4nnibal unfortunately the industry is shifting towards ai, especially in the game design industry. I do look for the dates myself, but I genuinely just don’t trust anything created after 2023
