I sorta agree with what you said about motors, but I gotta say, the cast iron bore 400cc flathead briggs are the most durable motor I've ever come across. I've owned 3 or 4, and all have ran at about 6 to 7k redline rpm. Never had a single one blow lol. Great video

I’m currently building one out of a very similar mower. The pulley on top of the trans axle is originally a splined pulley, but I saw you put on a keyed pulley. How did you do that and what is keeping the new pulley from spinning? Also a link to the pulley that you use on top of the trans axle would be great. Thanks man.

power is not the issue ! the problem is its belt driven so the belt will slip before the tires loose traction for a burnout !

the hose on the bottom is just a fuel over flow ! nothing important and try to find some carburator rubber boots on amazon its like 15$

Hey ur right, the flatheads busted on me 2 or 3 times, but never busted the single cylinder 1's, even with no govoner... My bk pulley was 3in my front was 7in, with a 6 spd, but was missing 6th & 5th...ha

J'ai une moto 400cc 4 cylindre (1991 suzuki bandit 400) elle est pratiquement en pièce. sa vaut tu la peine je m'achète une carcasse de petit tracteur a pelouse pour mettre le moteur dedans? c'est un 400cc de 60 chevaux, ils sont malada a conduire faque je me demandais si sa valais la peine hahaha. P.S. J'ai une autre bandit 400 déja prete pour la route faque me dérange pas de utiliser l'autre pour un projet
