Love an second-hand/antique store haul. I've been raised to love the antique/vintage magpie aesthetic. Mix of Edwardian/Georgian furniture with dashes of modernity, lots of velvet and early cinematography technology. Throw in some antiquarian books and I'm a happy girlie.

I was watching this last night while re-doing my kitchen and I paused it for some reason - I'm so glad I returned. The messiness toward the end is so worth it. It's... delightful? Delightful. I'm with you gurl, do what makes you feel good in your home. I have my favorite colors and idc if it's in style or not. It feels like home. I have wonderful family items and things I've collected throughout the years. I love blending the old with new. Home should feel comfortable, cozy, and safe...not stark or unwelcoming. Antique shops or thrift shops are the best for old books and art pieces. Love that. Can't wait to see your reveal.

I found a butternut pumpkin candle at HomeGoods in September. It smells incredible. I have it in my bathroom area. Haven't lit it yet. It smells good even not lit up, but I'll be lighting it during the week. Also have a pumpkin pear scentsy scent in my wall plug in candle warmer on my bathroom counter top. Put that in it a few days ago. The pumpkin pear scent also smells incredible. So does the leaves candle from Bath and Body Works. Those are just a few of my current favorite fall scents in candles/candle wax melts for candle warmers as of right now.

I'm obsessed with vintage brass lamps. They're pretty easy usually to rewire so even if they don't work, they're oftentimes a good investment. Buying decent lamp shades to go with them though is always a sticker shock. I'm just on a hunt for a floor lamp, have been for a couple years.

I found like one candle through bath & body works - spooky cider lane, smells so good ! I have to be very careful with candles because I have a sensitive sense of smell ( strong scents give me a headache ). This one reminds me of hot apple cider, and being that I'm from Connecticut and prefer the apple scent over pumpkin ( it's overdone so much ) - it's perfect ! Also, not almost dying when Daniel did the "how you doin'?" -- definitely heard Wendy in that one!

Your color palette is gorgeous! Check to see if you have a Habit for Humanity resale store near you. I have found the nicest lamps, chest of drawers, desk and pictures there. They were “high dollar “ and I paid between $50 and $100 for the furniture. Two pieces had thick glass top to protect the wood. I’m always searching for great antiques at good prices. Love the suitcase and terra cotta! and….the rest of the the haul. Wish you were closer. I’m need of help! We just bought a large home and having to redo every room!! I’m like you! I’m focusing on one room. But, honey, I am 63 so I need to hurry it up a little….lol Thank you very much for showing us all your goodies

Excuse me ma'am I am going to need advise on my house. I have 2 5 foot Bird of Paradise plants, 5 foot black and gold snake plant, and then 23 other plants ranging from 4 foot cane "trees" down to a 3" pink painted plant.
