I absolutely love the windows at the Italy house!! The indoor shutters, that pool, small private just enough. The views are amazing. And to look out and see the to of the church... wow. I know I'll never make it there so watching this was fantastic!! Enjoy while your there!!

Italy is amazing! I've been there several times because for me it isn't too far away. I'm from Germany. Going on a road trip through Italy and mostly doing couch surfing was one of the coolest things I ever did. Italy is a beautiful country and the people are super nice there. Can't wait to see more of your Italy content!

Daniel, Couple items. Fellow Sag here and I wait until the night before to pack before I pack no matter how long the trip. I have to edit several times since I tend to over pack. LOL I also am loose with planning and feel being spontaneous is the best way to travel. I went to The Netherlands when my Hubby had business there. I went out during the day and just explored by myself. I picked a new place each day and sought out museums, shops and restaurants. I had a blast! Hubby's Dutch Bosses were excited to talk to me at the end of the day to see where I had gone and my thoughts. Our dog gets depressed everytime he sees suitcases, he is so not a fan. LOL Enjoy your time in Italy with family and just resetting!

I love living in a small village in SW France with lots of local wine, wonderful neighbors and a slower pace of life. Again, hope you are ok and can travel to your heart’s content.

I recommend Luca, all the little towns of Cinqueterre, Pisa (there's a coffee shop that I loved there called Filter), Florence (you have to visit Piazza de Michelangelo, with a view to all Florence), Rome, Venice, Milano, Siena and Torino. Those were the towns I visited there while doing erasmus (college programm for europeans, where you pick a college in another european country to study during a semester). Looks gorgeous, a little thing change the setting on the washer, to quick wash it takes either 20 or 30 mins. It still does a proper wash but doesn't use boiling hot water, it's better for your clothes. I'm from England now living in spain and the washers can be changed pretty easy here. X

Oh I’ve been to Luca, it’s pretty. I think Rome and Sienna are my favourite. I lived in Florence and Venice. But Florence isn’t very friendly. It helps to be well dressed. They really care about that. I’m a Sagittarius too! December 15. :)

I always look forward to your posts, would love more- but also respect that you have other commitments and boundaries. ‘In a relationship you lose bits of yourself’- yes but no- you change with them, but the things that bring you joy, that are you- you share and grow together (to love). I married my husband in Praiano two years ago and we honeymooned around Italy- he’s traveled Europe but not Italy- he loved the experience and how I shared ‘my Italy’ with him- the art and culture that I love. We had new experiences together and I shared my love and knowledge of Italy. I hope you brought that pea coat! Heavy coats are on board items and a pea coat is a classic perfect for Italy. The US is different with their love of big flashy bathrooms and laundry’s! 😂 We have similar big homes in Australia and a love of personal space but the US takes those things next level. I too like airing clothes outside though- so fresh and clean- nothing like it. I hope you’ve enjoyed your time in Italy- kinda jealous!! ❤️

Things have been stressful lately and I would love to surprise him with a month in such a peaceful place. I don't even know where to start...a travel agency or can I research it myself. Jeans not only take long to dry, but they dry so stiff on a line. At home I line dry just about everything, as most things are made so cheaply these days I like to keep our things looking new, so I avoid the dryer for the most part. I throw our stiff line dried jeans in the dryer on low heat for 15 minutes just to soften them up. With clothes I do the same but just to get rid of some of the wrinkles, on my dryers wrinkle release setting, still with low heat. So, in my house, only T-shirts, underwear and pajamas are actually dried in the dryer.

You should stay for a bit in Milan! You get the beauty of Italy and the feel of a more cosmopolitan and open minded city, you’ll love Milano for sure!
