Bought a pair two days ago, at the Red Wing Amsterdam store and they are € 379.00 over here, which current is the equivalent of $ 388.00 so yeah they are expensive. Hopefully breaking them in isn't going to be to bad, as I'm not used to boots or leather this thick, fingers crossed.

Ahh to be honest I haven’t tried so I can’t say for certain. I would imagine close but for boots I always try to try them on when possible since my boots sizes vary so much

I mean it’s always best practice but I didn’t waterproof mine personally. They are holding up just fine. Granted it doesn’t rain much here lol

I’m a 10.5 tried 9.5 unbearably tight tried 10 still too tight. Ended up getting 10.5 fitting just right.

@ I just got some soft toe red wing pecos with the supersole and put the leather insoles in them… I’m very happy with them…. Also I’ve been wearing the iron rangers for a few years also… love red wing 😃

It's not that hard to justify the price - these are in the US handmade from quality materials. Provided the quality and the materials the price is ok.

I would agree with you personally but I can also see why asking someone to spend $330 on shoes could be difficult. These boots will definitely last way past what I paid but it’s a lot of money up front

@@MisterStubstep Sure, they are expensive boots. But you get what you pay for. I mean, I don't think they are overpriced. In comparison, Doc Martens are cheaper boots, but they are overpriced - in terms of materials used and the product itself people pay way too much than would be justified for what they are.

Yeah it was weird. I had one day where I felt like my feet were bleeding and then everyday after that it got better and better.
