I use Bick 4 on my 13 year old Copper Rough & Tough 9111 the color stayed pretty much the same. Comfy and cool.

I’m a size 10, but since I have a narrow foot my 1907 and other moc toes I have which are the 875 and 8847 I wear a 9D in all 3. Perfect fit for me. I tried a 9.5D, but they were too big. Happy with my fits they’ve all broken in nice!

Hi 👋 nice looking boots. Like you said, they don’t get a lot of wear. I had to get my sole replaced after around six months. But I walk anywhere between five and seven miles a day. I like the way the leather has aged from your jeans etc. it’s a cool look. I look forward to seeing how they look in another year. Thanks for the video.

They look amazing, I’ve had mine a week and they’re breaking in nicely. The soles still look good on yours, and the patina and discolouration look good too. I stack my raw denim so I’m curious to see how they’ll turn out. I need some iron rangers so I can rotate. Good video, thanks 👍

Nope, I wouldn't call them waterproof. Just regular leather and a welt. You can wear them in rain just fine, but not through a stream or anything like that.

Hello! I'd say no, not true to size. I would size down 1/2 US size. For example, I'm 10.5D Brannock and wear these in 10D. Yes! Once you have them broken in, they are comfortable to walk in as long as you're wearing good socks!

I put Saphir cream on my ones and they went dark brown and glossy. It's the glossiness I don't like. They should be a mat finish like your ones.

unfortunately i cant get red wings in my country, they dont ship here. i was thinking of getting thursdays wingtips and lots of good reviews but im not sure how the boots will last. do you know thursday boots in depth and can you recommend or not, getting them? ive had timberlands for daily wear, other boots for hiking and other boots for work. im looking for something comfortable that looks better than the timberlands like a dressier look and wont fall apart after a year or two..

I've had many Thursday products and for the price, they are very good. They also have a great customer service department that seems to quickly fix any issue. If you wear the boot daily I would expect you would need to resole it after 18-24 months... But that's not unheard of. There are much better boots out there, but for around $200 usd I think Thursday is the best.

@@rockymtnstyleSome people seems to have 5 even 8 years on their boots without a resole. it seems to be as much about ones weight, how one walks, on what services how often. Like you mentions im also a desk worker so my boots dont see hard wear except for my Thursday legends used for walking the dog, i put 5-10 kms per day on them, they are holding up well but thats orders of magnitude more steps than on most of my boots going to the office, the odd brunch or coffee out etc. previous to the legends was just rocking trail running/ hiking shoes but blowing the the soles in less than a year as they are so soft and the shoes are not much less than yesterdays. They will last i predict at least 5 years total if not longer if i were to really run them into the ground.

wingtips are nice, they are actually very casual, basically hiking/ walking boots for the estate but for whatever reason at least in NA people seem to think because they are much less common they are fancy, meanwhile most of theses boots have quite blue collar origins. The blacks def more dressy than lighter. i like the black and the tan in particular but dont own either. i do have black wingtip dress shoes which i like because they are less dressy than black oxfords which i fine to dressy especially post covid return to work which is way more casual in the office. i am enjoying the more casual as so many more options to dress up jeans, boots button downs, sweaters etc,

@@rockymtnstyle I'm 10D on my Brannock。But 9.5D on 1907 seems too tight with the added RW insole, so I went with 10D instead. FYI, I wear 9.5D on my Iron Rangers.
