Absolutely love your videos! I've been watching since mage knight and you've not only helped open the world of coop/solo board games to me, but also provided some great entertainment. Thank you and keep it up!

Awesome play-through as usual! Mistfall has elements of Mage Knight, Pathfinder Adv. Card Game, and Darkest Night. Can't wait to see the rest!

This reminds me of Mage Knight and Pathfinder ACG. It looks very fun and in depth!

Late to the party here but i couldnt miss your playthrough! Im a big fan of your MK videos and Renegade is one of my top games. Just wanted to mention a couple of things for the people that might see this video. 1. When you end your hero phase you should have drawn up to your hand limit (that the last step of the hero phase). 2. When enraging enemies, the ones with the icon you mention have priority to be enraged but if there is no enemy with the icon you still have to enrage an enemy.

Since you can help other heroes but you need to increase range, does that mean that the archers hiding behind a monster at the hero you want to help have range 3? Great channel!

If I am not mistaken, you should have reset enemy focus aftr the encounter (a step missing on the player aid card). Another great video - thanks!

Michael Weber Hi Michael... I couldn't find anything in the rulebook to that effect. If you find it, let me know ? Thanks! Rick
@HoloDoc429 жыл бұрын
Ricky Royal Apparently it is neither mentioned in the rulebook nor in the Encounter Aftermath on the quest charter. It's only mentioned on the player aid. See point 2 in the discussion here: boardgamegeek.com/thread/1398210

Drawing at the end of the hero turn is important as a Reflex action may be played after you have filled your hand.
@BoxofDelights9 жыл бұрын
starman You're correct - I forgot to draw back up at the end of the Hero turn. Thank you !!

At 7:39, when Crow is engaged, you mention that he loses half his focus, rounded down in the Heroes' favor. But instead of removing one focus (1.5 rounded down), you removed two. That would've meant Crow would've had the War Chief alotted to him later since he would've had two focus and the higher amount after the previous one reduced the other character's focus.
@BoxofDelights9 жыл бұрын
NefariousKoel they don't lose half, it's divided by 2 then rounded down.
@BoxofDelights9 жыл бұрын
NefariousKoel remember high focus is bad :)
@NefariousKoel9 жыл бұрын
Ahh okay. That was the bit I didn't know about.
@ShaulTzuar8 жыл бұрын
Ok, 3/2 = 1.5 round that down to 1. Doesnt that mean you move enemy focus down only 1? You moved it 2 from 3 to 1.
@cybergolem77248 жыл бұрын
+Paul Dunlap: According to the rules, "If any game situation demands for any number to be halved (½), always round down. In other words, a halved 5 becomes 2, and a halved 1 becomes 0".

This is very similar to LOTR LCG I think this has a bit more adventure feeling as you move tile places and less of a chance of just losing really fast with the ability to heal.
@BoxofDelights9 жыл бұрын
theclash24 it is very LotR lcg - good observation !
@theclash249 жыл бұрын
I think this feels a bit more epic with a few more things to do and some unfimiliar heroes can make any game new and exciting. While LOTR is cool in its own right...it's a bit over hyped in my opinion and the movies were slow and long...dragged on. I can't wait to see more of this game :)

Hello Ricky, are you going to do a run-through of Mistfall heart of mist?
@BoxofDelights7 жыл бұрын
Hi - nothing planned
@rohitramnath54019 жыл бұрын
So Venda's ability to move axes from her discard pile to her hand causes her focus to increase, which I think has knock-on effects for enraging enemies. I think you only followed half the text written on her ability
@BoxofDelights9 жыл бұрын
Rohit Ramnath hi, no, her ability says that if you wish to repeat (and retrieve a second axe) only then increase her Enemy Focus. Hope this helps! best wishes, Rick

+Caroline Easthope Thank you ! Do you know, I can't remember.... I tend to just collect things like this as I find them. I have a drawer full of things... it's like my mum's old button tin :)
@carolineeasthope79399 жыл бұрын
Lol no problem I have a drawer like that maybe I'll have a root around :)
@machheydt1768 жыл бұрын
+Caroline Easthope You can get them from animal stores sometimes, they sell them to fill fish tank bottoms. They are also sold in packs of 20 as life counters for games like magic the gathering. Sometimes they are sold in craft stores, they are called cabochons in Europe. And some homestores also sell them to fill vials as decoration. So plenty ways to get them, and they're usually pretty cheap ;)

this game is pretty interesting but I would need to play it on my own. Are there games slightly similar in combat and of course with solitaire options.
