This is perhaps the most clear demonstration I have ever seen of this game. Excellent work, I absolutely love your presentation!

Around 49:20, you say that you couldn't use Flavi again if you flipped them back. But you didn't use their Ally ability, right? Adding the objective token (and flipping) was the result of a reflex. So you should be able to flip them back and either use their Ally action or use the reflex again to put another token somewhere.

Dude amazing job explaining everything. I like how you acknowledged that the rules are convoluted, yet you do a great job stepping back and taking the extra time in explaining each step

Thank you. It means a lot to me when my videos assist others in playing a game. I try to slow things down (even if it makes the video longer) and explain my actions and reason for doing things. Sometimes I make mistakes, but I have plenty of people to help check my videos for accuracy now :-)

Hi There, just found your channel as one of my subscribers mentioned your channel and this is my first video to watch of yours. WOW great job explaining a tough game! Appreciate how meticulous you are so that we all understand the rules. I will be subscribing now. Thanks for all the hard work you do!!

Thank you! I checked out your channel too, and it's excellent. You're very thorough in your explanations, and I like that you take the time to do several static shots and edit them together well. Very well done, you have a new subscriber. Also, I'm a huge fan of solo and co-op games and look forward to finding new wallet destroyers on your channel.

Clear and concise. An excellent job done. I have this and have played, but this was a great video to refresh myself of the rules before I set up and have an other go. I forget rules so this is a great help. Keep up the good work. Cheers.

Great playthrough, helps a lot when learning this game (got it yesterday for when not everyone has time for D&D). One question: shouldn't you have the time marker put further ahead on the track since you used allies?
@TheTurtledreams28 күн бұрын
The Rulebook says: For the Time Track , the starting position is the one with the number of Hero icons equal to the number of Heroes starting the Quest. If any players decided to bring Allies along, move the cube on the Time Track one space to the right for each Ally in any Hero Area. You bring 3 Allies along, so i think you have to put the cube 3 positions right on the time track (14:18). Or am i wrong?

Very helpful video. I played along my own game while I watched you. Very helpful. One question. You started with 3 allies in the hero area. Shouldn't the time track have started three spaces further to the right?

Great Video. i Test played it before and looked for a Video to Check if we played right. you Show us as example that we played with the difficult Side of the Hero Charter. Thanks much! but i have some Information for you about the time Charter. you Start in the Field with Number of Players + numbers of allies. in your Case in the Field with the Four Player Symbol. Page 6 quest setup.

Excellent didactic skills. HotM "feels" like a WQ:ACG for real men, but can't really explain why. And I would Immediately get out my Rounder cutter, to make the card corners nice and round. Why is the bury deck face up? Intuitively I would expect it to be rotated 90 deg and face down.

When you used weapon block at 53:40 the enemy was at range 2. Was this possible?

I played this a few times when I got it but then stopped. There is a lot to track and sometimes it's bothersome. I've been thinking of going back in but I don't know. If I don't try again it's just gonna sit on my shelf forever. Off topic but have you played Aventuria the adventure card game?

Hi, nice playthrough, looking forward to the next part. Just one doubt, should the Ravenok Archer be affected by the encounter condition? I think his attack should be reduced by one.

Great, great videos! just one thing, I thought on Quest #1 all Hunters get +2 Damage, correct or have I misunderstood it?
@solo-board-gamer4 жыл бұрын
I misunderstood it, "Stalk the Prey" is an action on Erida "stalker" side
@philomorph74 жыл бұрын
Quick correction - at 38 minutes you say the Hunter Swooper "has a physical defense of 1", but it has physical defense of 2, which you point to. A slip of the tongue, but might confuse some folks.

I learned a LOT from your HotM videos. Thank you so much for them. I found them more useful than the other ones out there. However, I just wanted to tell you about some things that would have really helped me further. 1. More closeups of cards/text. I tried to follow along by putting the same cards out so I could pause and see everything you're describing in front of me. 2. Explain why things happen, even if you already mentioned the rule before. At one point, you mentioned that you weren't going to use an attack of 3 because the enemy had 2 defense and that it would be useless since the attack you were considering was ranged. It took me a few minutes of looking things up to figure out why ranged attacks don't do as much damage - it was just the encounter card (which you had mentioned earlier and which I should have remembered.) Anyway, my fault. Just wanted you to see a way that could make the videos a little clearer. Those particular two wishes of mine are things that One Stop Co-op shop excels at. I haven't seen many of your videos yet, but it seems you excel at teaching dense games that no one else even attempts, and with more thoroughness than I'd expect, so I'm really glad I found your channel. You taught me Saltlands! Thanks!

Thank you so much for the well thought out suggestions, and they are great tips. I will try to add more close-ups of cards and/or text in my next filming sessions, and I will expect you to critique it and let me know if it works or if I need to improve more. Thanks again, I love constructive criticism or suggestions like this, and I agree One Stop Co-op Shop does excel at this.

Yes, there is a lot to keep track of. I would have liked to have some game counters or tokens to help keep track of all the modifiers and conditions.
