If they recommended that you need to put a spacer on one side then that means your axle isn't centered which eventually on big rims will cause a issue. You may wanna get that rear axle centered

They didn't for my car specifically...they said most gbodys only require a spacer on one side...I've heard that from several people but I just put em on both sides either way..I have the same clearance on both sides... appreciate ya gang🦾👌🏾

These cars are something else man...a lot of people also realize when they put coilovers on and set em the sameon both sides the car sits lower or higher on one side so have to offset the coilovers...

No it's not custom...it's just an indoor cover from AutoZone and no it doesn't hug the bottom of the car..I bought a size 4...should have gotten a 5

How is the condition of your body frame bushings? I know alot of G-Bodys has this issue with dry rotted body bushings.

Actually not sure... I'm going to check em out tho...I needed spacers on both sides for clearance of the inner fender tho...they weren't saying for my car specifically, just something they ran into previously with em...Thanks OG!!!

@@87SSBOI Your welcome. Sometimes the body can sag or become uneven on one side because of this. Also I have seen where the bolts can be broken from rust too. Just something to think about. I have dealt with these things when it came to restoring my G Bodies over the years.
