As designed the flares don't actually give any more wheel room so I'm not sure why guys buy them. Just cosmetic bolt on. I like the way you did it.

I love your updates because I have very similar goals/aesthetics (Rocket Bunnyish) with my 71 Dart. I have been building it in my head and have to decide whether to cut a damn good set of fenders or not...My problem is the arches are not rounded on a Dart, especially in the rear, and I'd be changing the whole look of the car😬

Heat guns work great when trying to mold fender flares. But your right they can make things worse if you don't pay attention.

I think the flares look crappie. That was a good look'n car now it looks bad.
