Man, I am a healer-main since the release of wow and I was so happy as they brought the Monk in MoP. I tried MW a lot of times but it never suited me. I never got a good feeling like i've had with other healers. I tried it again, mid season 1, in DF but I struggled hard and got frustrated and I dropped it again. But now you dropped this guide, I watched it and something felt good and I watched the hole thing a second time and started to undust my MW right after. And, oh boy, I don't know why, but something clicked for me. I had a great session with 7 or 8 runs on my MW. Felt awesome. Thanks for your content, B!

Thanks for the guide, two clarifications/corrections. You get a “free” enveloping myst during Chi ji after three hits with black-out kick, at 1 or 2 you still get a discounted (percentage) EM Mana tea is not a new talent, we always had it but it was vastly different, still getting used to the new tea, but it seems like a good update You basically just summarized what is fun and amazing about being a MW as well as what is confusing and scares players. It’s a lot of fun, it’s very technical, there’s lots of things to know, and the basics and fundamentals are very clear if you like reading manuals and following instructions. But going above the basics there’s lots of different things you can do as MW none are wrong and none are the only way to do it. So there’s lots of freedom to be an artist of the craft. But not everyone wants to be creative and have to think that much I consider MW the architects of healing. You have to be both technical and creative to succeed Happy day

The Chi Burst reset rolls for each ALLY hit, so try to aim at allies when going for a reset

It was changed recently! We will be able to go back to blue lines at a later date if we want. But it was changed to match monk a bit more!

So I just transmog it, you can select what weapons. Make sure you've put it on in Brewmaster mode once but I think thats all I did! But there is a drop down for type of weapon. Its a staff, under staves!@@mohammadrezaaran8208

So, I decided to level up my monk who has been the bastard of my alts for like 3 expansions, but I liked tanking on brewmaster so I did that for a while. Then I decided to give MW a try and I absolutely love it. I found this guide very helpful to just clean up some of the things I'm doing, especially thinking that I had to have Jade Serpent statue. RIP.

yulon and awakened faeline, that seems odd (no dealbreaker though), also one thing i can add is that you can also run the yulon ramp build from raids if you struggling with boss healing on tyranical

I promise you the awakened faeline is standard every time. Yulon has no synergy I am aware, but for healing 5 players that’s not an issue and def helps with learning if you can’t run chi ji! You always take fae stuff because fistweaving is ultra strong all the time

Do you use Soothing Mist and Expel Harm at all?

Next patch expel harm a lot more because it’s going to actually be an amazing self heal! But soothing mist is for two things. Lazy RP healing between stuff, and slamming a very fast combo to gigaheal one player quickly. Soothing>enveloping>vivify(sometimes 2-3 times) is worth it through soothing for the speed! RIP your mana bar, but I do it a ton when I need to heal someone as fast as I can with no bubble! Fistweaving is better wherever you can. But the spells heals do more HPS outside of Celestial cooldowns. But that cost is mana, a lot of it. So it’s important to do what you can for fistweaving efficiently and swap to burn mana when it’s needed!

I have info on it on later monk videos, but its almost perfect! Stack your blackout kick stacks to 4 (2 tiger palms on a faeline) and only do 2 stacks for chi-ji or when you need to heal immediately and can't wait for one more tiger palm.

Simple Weakaura's! Just the template ones that Weakaura helps you make if you say "make new" or whatever the option is. Honestly give it a try! Its pretty easy for a simple track like a buff or cooldown!

There is! But I recommend just making one with simple aura's within WA's menu! Its really easy to make those simple ones. That being said, I don't use a weak aura's to track that I kinda have the clock timing down? I'm doing this on hard mode for absolutely no reason do not recommend lol

All Blizzard need to do is add some talents around Crackling Jade Lightning (yeah remember that spell?). They could buff it so that it does a lot more damage, potentially as AoE. There could be interactions that casting CJL convert your Blackout Kick and Rising Sun kick into some sort of ranged ability, perhaps like Soothing Mist allows us to cast our heals instantly? Also, some more interactions with Expel Harm may be welcome. Ranged MW is so much fun, I love playing it, it would be great to have some options.

Uhh there are three answers! As in the talent tree, no but it does lead to important capstones so with worth going all in. Faeline isn’t hard, drop it where you’re fighting and maybe going and fight in it. It’s how you kickstart fistweaving, so it’s a natural part of rotation. But pressing it too early sucks. Walk back on it to refresh buff if you had to leave it! The faeline appearance over jadefire requires a certain level reputation with the night fae. It’s like 5-10k gold I can’t remember. But an easy pickup if you played shadowlands, go to the vendor in oribos past the covenant selection area!

They* if you don’t mind. And it’s just a staff, so for MW just transmog a 2 hander staff into it. Super easy!
