I've seen so many people try to do this quest in the alpha that have never healed on a mistweaver and just died over and over again because they didn't notice the passive buffs of the NPCs so they just went OOM lol Had me hysterically laughing the noob mistakes, love it. Thanks for the vid.

These class halls really do have potential, I know Preach said it in another video, but a continued story with new bits added each patch over the course of the xpac would be fantastic, look at SE's FF:ARR which has new content added each patch outside of dungeons/raids such as the continuation of the main storyline quests. I can see the monks retaking the peak of serenity quite a viable possibility if they go down this route, and that's just one class hall, imagine the possibilities. A lot of work for sure, which after WoD i'm left wondering if such a thing will happen, I'm going to dare to be optimistic I think.

Monk has access to all roles, extremely fun gameplay, beautiful areas with distinct looks and lore, dramatic looking abilities and an overall sense of fun. Least played class by a margin. Must be because people don't like pandas as a race and it's the only race that really meshes with the class? Psyched to play my mistweaver in Legion! the 30% soothing mist talent plus the Jade Serpent talent means my favorite healing spell will still be awesome despite the design change.

Glad they give you party members so you can actually do healing. This actually looked like a good starter. Looking over the talents and artifact tree I can see that there are a few ways to design your healing style within the one spec. That's something I'm a fan of. I couldn't care about Chi for MW either, it always felt like I was forced to spend mana on spells I didn't even want to use to build Chi to I could get out the ones I wanted. The spec looks less clunky now. My one concern is how slow solo questing will be in MW spec when leveling. Either or it looks good enough for me. If anything I'm convinced enough to hold on to my L100 boost until more xpack info comes out and plan around my Monk for now.

+Cornbane Just to point out that spending mana on chi generating heals that's not RJW or Renewing Mist isn't something you should be doing much of or any off in the current HFC Version of MW atleast. MW has gone from the strongest healer in HFC to the most dogshit healer ever in Alpha, the Chi and RM playstyle was engaging and it had a very high skillsealing, it was also a very fast playstyle which was the fun part about MW monks. I swapped from my resto shaman to my MW in HFC and i absolutely love it.... now i just feel sad i only have 6-7 months left of domination before i'll be going resto druid. For me personally the biggest concern i have is that we have no way of discerning us from a resto shaman and they do it better plain and simple. I mean vivify is just a quicker casted chain heal, essence font needs to be made a cast not a channel or it will not be usefull.. no MW is dead unless major changes are coming or we get acces to the entire artifact tree.

+Slashproz I'm not going to speculate beyond what I've seen here until beta gets into full swing. The textures for the game aren't fully implemented yet let alone mechanics and class balancing. Also, not all of the specs are accessible yet. Data-mined info cannot be greatly trusted because all we can do in our minds is use it in WoD scenarios.

Why did they remove Jab? I can understand with Windwalkers as they use their fists as their weapons, but Brewmasters and Mistweavers can still use their staves as weapons. With the removal of Jab the staves of both Brewmasters and Mistweavers have become nothing more than decorations.

Im gonna quit MW in Legion! They fucked it up for my part as a pvp healing monk. The thing that had me hooked was that soothingmist made env.mist etc. instant, cus the gcd from soothing was so short so i almost never get interupted when "casting" env.mist.

Oh Mistweaving/Fistweaving, how I'll miss thee... well, since they hard-cast their heals and can't effectively self heal while soloing, I guess I'll have to shelf my favourite class from a RP/lore perspective. This rework seems a little cruel to me; I can only play the Mistweaver if I want to heal, because their healing style is GCD-based, whereas I hate hard-casting spells like a normal caster/healer. I lost the only healing option for my playstyle, just so normal healers could have one more generic healing spec to play when they don't feel like playing the other five. And what's worse, MW monks are the only healers that only have one DPS spell to use during their downtime in a raid.

Well, Nobbel indeed had his problems with this quest. I kinda have the feeling that Blizz is going to nerf this quests. I imagine how many WoW players simply wouldn't be able to complete it since they are so bad at WoW. Look how many people are too bad to get silver in proving grounds right now. It's embarassing. But the artefact weapons are mandatory so Blizz will probably scale it so every player can achieve it.

What healer ever told their teammates to ignore everything around them and only attack the boss. Because I play healer and when something like this comes up, I educate that person not to do it, how evade and why not to do it. But apparently, somebody is so deep in their own world to not realize this and think that those NPC are humans there, only to irritate you, then sir I salute you for stealing your parents money to buy subscription. I rest my case, no matter what "things" you will say, NPC and raid members are 2 different things so you cant compare them.
