Yeah bad comments are basically from people that don't have fun in life and just want to ruin yours just to feel better. It's pathtetic.

Haven’t watched Revere Overland but I sure like TSTN. I’m hooked. He’s such a smart off-roading KZbinr who gets all the little things right. Casey250 is very good too. He has a very good on camera personality. He can be doing boring day to day chores, but on camera he’s interesting to listen to while doing it.

Shaun, I have been subscribed to your channel for over a year now and also had the pleasure of meeting you at Easter Jeep Safari last year. I absolutely enjoy all of your videos and the way that you edit including the epic music as I feel that it adds to all of the epic videos that you produce. Keep up the great work and hop you far exceed the 300k subscribers that you are pushing for.

Shaun, I absolutely love this channel. I might be subscribed to a hundred channels, but there are only a half a dozen that I actually seek out their weekly content. Yours is on the top of the list. The videography, the terrain, the people you hang with, and most importantly your family make the channel. Stay on your path. Acknowledging that we sometimes need a hand is a sign of wisdom and courage. Peace a f the haters

Hey Shawn, 1st off, you're doing a great job with the channel and hopefully getting paid for doing what you love. Unfortunately, mental health is out of control in this country. And the number of miserable people out there is on the rise. I have had the unfortunate problem with running into a health crisis that caused me to slow down from always pursuing happiness and enjoying life to the fullest. Now, I find myself with a few days of energy to do all the living I have left. Channels like yours help so much with a distraction until I can get out and explore myself. We all need to look at people who have nothing but negative thoughts and only try to bring down others as a cry for help. It's not you with the problem it's them. Somehow, their insecurities need to be soothed by trying to bring you down. Just dismiss these people and continue to pray they can find happiness in their lives like you have. PS Thanks for the great content and helping me to dream!

As a viewer, I can't fathom how someone would find negativity to comment on your videos. As a business owner and content creator myself, I know that along with success come the haters. I've only been subscribed to your channel for about a month, but I immediately became obsessed with them. I never had a lick of interest in camping or overlanding until coming across your content. Your incredible content single handedly fueled a new interest and passion of mine immediately! Don't change a thing you are doing and keep killing it man!

Being in IT for 40 years, this thing called the Internet we created does create an opportunity to spread hate. I describe it like this: “If we bump shopping carts in the grocery, we say sorry, and give each other space. If we get too close in a car, some flip each other off, the separation allows it. If we see something we don’t like on the Internet, some go into full hate mode and disrespect gravely”. Just scroll on by people, no need to spread hate.

My wife and I actually rewound and paused to read some of the comments. Unbelievable, and I'm guessing those comments are from non-suscribed or have no videos of their own. It's amazing how people on youtube and social media platforms feel that their opinions matter. Now if they are paying you to create content for them, then hey, their opinion matters, but they are not paying. KZbin is free and to complain or judge a creators content is ridiculous. If they don't like it then just move on. You do amazing work and have been an inspiration. Don't change a thing and continue to do this your way and thank you for bringing us along for the ride and experience your Story Till Now 🍻

Man, DO NOT let those idiots rain on your parade. I read a ton of books on psychology, philosophy, mindset in general. When you rise (especially whilst having fun and doing something you're great at) people will ALWAYS try to drag you down. If these ppl were genuinely, I mean genuinely, happy in their own lives, would they be leaving these negative comments? Are they coming from successful, established, fulfilled happy people? I very much doubt it. Re-frame it. If I weren't doing so dam well and flourishing, making money, becoming successful, in doing something I love, would people even bother to comment? So I must be doing VERY WELL! I do video editing and graphic design. You are a very talented individual. Keep up the GREAT WORK and don't ever stop. Because I, and THOUSANDS of others, LOVE what you do. ❤ PS Don't let them steal your microphone(energy)!

Shaun, from a fellow adventurer down under in Oz, you are one of the very few Overland travellers that lives by the motto ‘leave no trace’. You never trash the trails in anything that I have seen you are considerate, mindful, and you always leave things as they are. Ignore the naysayers and their comments. They must only come from jealousy, or the fact that they’re living a miserable life. We can always be a bit more mindful about how we treat the planet and the emissions we make, but don’t let them drag you down. Your productions are awesome. Take care, Shane

Hang in there Shawn. I've been in therapy ( and I helped) but your videos are so much better therapy to me than talking to someone. You have movie quality and heart. And think about if you didn't do what you do ,would it be less than a empact to the environment if you drove to work everyday and then drove to the store and to friends and family and vacation and anything else that everyone does everyday. Focus on the good NOT the bad. You are a target because it is easier to put down someone else than look in the mirror. Keep making these videos and we will watch them happily

Some of those Hate comments make no sense... "Dont buy a 80k truck to go up the mountains" of course you buy an 80k truck if you go up mountains...You dont buy a Ford Fiesta! And its the Music soundtrack that makes the video. The stunning drone shots allow people like myself to see the epic sights, the editing is on par with some National Geographic films. If i were you i would concentrate only on the positive comments, and i bet they out way the negatives by Miles.))

Hey Shaun Just dropping a message - appreciate you being open and honest. Man you can't please everyone, clearly. And there's no shortage of people who say what they want when hiding behind a device. You certainly are living the life that many don't get the chance to. Your passion, your joy, your content - brings joy to, discovery, and new knowledge to a lot of your audience and consumers. Your videos are absolute bangers, music is epic, appropriate, and go hand in hand with the cinematic videography and story telling you're doing. Absolute skill, talent. And storytelling ability, not just purposeless overlanding and It's a big difference between feedback vs haters. So very important to stick to your core principles. This isn't just another jeep/overlanding channel. TSTN is about journeys, adventure, come along for the ride.

Shaun, your one of my favorites dude. Seriously cool channel. Awesome scenery, videos, truck.. keep doing you and the fans are here to support you. Somebody somewhere said you know your doing something right when people come out to try to discourage you and talk crap. (Basically lol) Your a good dude, keep it up

You have to think that haters are a percentage of your community, which leads to more negative comments, but with more comments, the video is recommended more. In conclusion, haters take you higher on KZbin, they lose more than you, greetings from Argentina.

Aww man you ran my neighborhood! Such an awesome area. Make sure you come further east and check out the Cabinets and the Thompson lakes / river area. Theres some pretty sweet hidden gems too like the 4 lakes basin outside of T Falls (although it burned a couple years ago). The Cabinets remind me of the misty mountains in the Hobbit. Some really cool places just east of the ID border! Check it out or give me a ring if you're looking for more areas. Heads up though we close gates for seasonal roads Oct 15th!
