Keine Ahnung wie oft ich mir dieses Video schon angeschaut habe, allein der Tatsache wegen, dass man mit einfachsten Mitteln etwas machen kann, das einem große Freude bereitet. Wie oft habe ich mir vorgenommen, das nachzubauen, aber nun bin ich auch ein alter Kerl, der hier nicht mal eine Strecke finden würde, auf der man diese Freude in die Tat umsetzen könnte. Hier im Süden haben sie alles platt gemacht oder mit Verboten unterlegt.

Geweldig! Ik wist dat je in Zweden op stilgelegd spoor kan fietsen op een huur-draisine, maar als je zelf een vouw-draisine hebt kun je overal naar toe. Goed idee. Wel even zeker weten dat het spoor buiten gebruik is, voor je opstapt :).

Yes, it is really nice to do and especially when you have build it by yourself. Unfortunately, as you have read perhaps, this line was broken off for some years. Nowadays we drive our vehicle on a line that is also used by steamlocomotives. Of course in good consultation with the owners of the line. Die kommen vom Bergwerk in Elbingerode. Abgedanktes Schrottmaterial. Total verrostet und mit kaputten Kugellagern. Übrigens gibt es Anbieter von Alu-Nylon Räder. Weiss aber nicht genau wo.

+Herbert F. Die Räder sind von Steinlorries aus dem Harz. Alles weieter ist technisch dabei fantasiert ohne zu wissen ob es letztendlich funktionieren. Sollte. Es gibt keine Zeichnungen (mehr), u.a. weil ich die Draisine vor zwei Jahren verkauft habe.

Wir haben die als "Schrott"' für 30 DM gekauft beim Bergbau Elbingerode (Harz). Sie sind von einem Steintransportwagen. Alle Lager mussten ersetzt worden. Ich rate die auch nicht an wegen dem Gewicht (27 kg/St). Es gibt bestimmt leichtere; fragen Sie z.B. bei einem Draisinenbetrieb, wo die die her haben. Viel Erfolg!

In what country do you live? Steep slopes are always difficult to drive because of the weight of the construction plus passengers.

It is in the eastern part of Germany. Unfortunately the railway we used, is broken up some years ago. But on the westside of Templin (a city in this region) you can hire a draisin and use it up to Fürstenberg (about 30km). Nice tot do.

awesome watching some of these videos the past few days i think i am gonna build one of these things even if its just an arm off the side of my bicycle. every singe video i have watched is peaceful quiet ,except for the motorized carts but the solar powered ones and the electric ones are just as quiet as the pedal driven ones i think the first will be a bike with the arm and then once i get the plan down i'll build one with a solar panel overhead so it can get sun and i can get shade
