I was born and raised in Germany, where I still live - but I love British comedy, mostly things made by the BBC! I wish I could pay the license fee and get access to some of the great stuff (QI, Mitchell and Webb, Armstrong and Miller, Sherlock...) but until they make that possible I'm stuck with downloading radio podcasts and watching the TV programmes semilegally online. I wish I could pay for such great public broadcasting!

Great song! First time I heard it, I couldn't make out the last three names and I thought the final one was Mitch, i.e. a reference to himself. Thanks to the creator of this video for putting me right. However, I am still proud of the BBC for featuring Mitch (particularly on The Now Show)

not only is this song a proper toe tapper, it makes me want to sing it aloud, in the face of anyone who dares try to tell me the BBC is shit. there's nothing like the BBC anywhere in the world - and all the people who try and de-construct it are scared shitless by it because it's not there to make money, but it produces some of the best programming in the world, and has done so since it's creation. And somehow that's a threat, and not right. make your shit better - don't tear down what's great
