Any chance you can help me or point me in the right direction to find an OEM TRD exhaust? 2003 GTS. Thanks Mitch!

Super clean underneath damn I need to get a southern car.. maybe Florida, or somewhere that it does not snow..

Thats dirty and rusty underneath compared to my 2002 GTS 394k miles. Mine looks almost brand new underneath. Original muffler no rust and clean looking aluminum.

Mitch! I got the last Apexi N1 00-05 Celica exhaust in the US recently and installed it to my 2002 GTS using your video as a reference along with the instructions. Thanks for putting out these vids for the Celica and saving me a ton on labor. Side note, I also just installed a JET MAF sensor to augment my Injen Cold Air intake. Next step is the coilovers (which I already have), and then possibly the Catalytic Converter & Headers to finish it all off before I wrap it. Any suggestions on the Cat. Conv. or headers to make sure I get the most out of my new exhaust?
@HackNSlasHz2 жыл бұрын
My 00 gts didn’t have a cat converter when I bought it, thinking of a cold air and new exhaust but should I invest in a cat first?

Question: will this new exhaust let's you lower the car? Or the muffler seats too low to the point it might scrape the ground while driving
@MitchDore3 жыл бұрын
Yes you can lower the car with no problems

would a muffler delete hurt the engine?

I’m wondering too

shame that most of the nice exhaust is under the car... sounds great though. I use exhaust hanger pliers to remove the exhaust from the hangers. Only used it a handful of times but very useful overall. Won't have to lube them up anymore like I did in the past.

Hey Mitch just curious what you used to trim the rear bumper so it wouldn’t melt around the exhaust?
@MitchDore Жыл бұрын
I used sharp scissors. Believe it or not ikea sells good scissors!

Sounds stock. (But that is the base of it) not crazy like the N1 Apexi,haha. Would love to know what are the gains of it and do a quick dyno again ^_^. Good piece. Thumbs up for TRD / Kaminari spoiler :P
