@JM6411 ай бұрын
@@Declopse We don't need the OG moulds. We just need some complexity. Or at the very least the MOC community has to start developing some alternatives. There IS a market still for bionicle. It still has potential. And the fans ARE willing to shell out cash for it. But it needs to be a solid final product. To my understanding the "edgy" phase of bionicle ('06-'08) was their peak both financially and culturally. I know Lego tries to keep things more family friendly but taking that time frame of Bionicle and applying the grittiness to the whole series, ramping it up even more and providing some high detail, high complexity models would make them a mint from the AFOL community I'm certain. The property has SO MUCH potential, and Lego is still holding on to it and referencing it because Lego knows that too, but it's held back because Lego doesn't want to step out of its comfort zone again.
