How quick hawks supports turn from the hawks the look good to wow the hawks are rubbish is crazy. This team this year were not even supposed to be near the top 8 so I think as a hawks supporter hawks fans need to just chill out. GWS are a good team

100% I also think travelling plays an aspect Geelong to Tassie to Adelaide to Canberra didn’t help. Boys were spent.

If there was a game to demonstate how much we need Barrass, this was it. Guys have been playing under sized (admirably) all year. If we allow penetration through the middle, we get exposed. Seems like we lost our defensive structure in the last quarter. Didn't set up well behind the ball. Will be a harsh video review on Monday. Sucks to lose but we still have a punchers chance. Huge game next week!

There is no way we should go for Barass. He will cost too much. First round draft picks over the next four years will be severely pushed back with academy and free agency picks being numerous next year and then there will be at least two years of Tasmania getting the lion's share of top 20 picks. A late first round pick will probably end up in the late twenties at best and probably in the thirties. We need to take the picks we get now. We have James Black coming back from his knee and another year on McCabe AND potentially Battle coming as a free agent that will cost zero draft capital. No Backman in the past month has kept Hogan to less than four goals. Sometimes a good forward, in form is just going to kick goals no matter what. The game was not even lost there. They were tactically smart, they shut down Will Day, kicked the ball where Sicily wasn't and got a hold of us through the middle in the last quarter.

Should have won that, had them for 2 possibly 3 quarters, wish we’d just keep pushing when well In front and put the game to bed, killer instinct is so important. Easy goals for giants in the last isn’t good enough.

Both Ginny in the 3rd Quarter & Meek in the last had the chance to kill them off, but choked instead. The coaches then followed suit in the last quarter by going defensive....Not playing Finn on Whitfield proved a bad selection mistake.

After Essendon's fluke win against Freo it might be a challenge. Carlton is an early Elimination Final and it cannot be understated just how important that game will be. And we must put North and Richmond to the sword just in case we have to sneak in on %

I know the hawks have been winning and they lose this game, but c'mon.!! What does Finn have to do to get a run on in this team. He could have been great against GWS. Mix it up so the line up doesn't get too predictable like the other teams and could aid they guys recovery after so much travel the last few weeks.🙄

Bad choices by rhe coaching panel for the final qtr. Not pkayo g man on man footy was dumb. We had to oressure GWS and maje them earn the win. I stead we pkayed the 'guarding grass' tactic again amd theu oicked through us way too easily with precision kicking and handball. It was a disgrace to watch so e of our forwards just let the GWS defenders literally rinning outside fifty with no pressure. We were witches hats' in that final qtr. After being so powerfully dominant over them for most of the first three qtrs this loss really dsiappoints. If we play anything like this style off footy against the Blues we'll be flogged by 80 pts. Too many passengers. Dear needs a spell. Time for Skaife to debut on the big MCG stage. McKenzie steaight back in for Ginny. He needs a break. Seamus Mitchell back in and CJ out. Hes got no a clue unless it's a tiktok vid. Ward out for Hustwaite. Lets go Hawks. Time to take on the Baggers at the 'G'. .

He is a professional he knows what he is doing sometimes you just can’t win them all, both coaches are professionals and one of them has to lose, he’s done well to get us in contention for top 8 after the start we had

@@alansimmonds9030Who came in for Finn . Gunston who did the job . What if Sam Taylor had been a potent intercept marker rebounder all day. You can’t be a hindsight hero. Finn needed to play an entire game as he had been the sub the last two games . This year is now a pass . If we made or make finals Freo/Brisbane at home will smash our makeshift backline.
