So good that Nash is staying. It has taken a lot of Hawks fans a while to realise his value. Some still don't see it. He is an integral piece of the midfield. His ability to compete in the ruck is a massive bonus too. Aparently he turned down some big offers and chose to stay and win premierships instead. GO HAWKS.

Agree, he’s extremely versatile for us in there. He can even go to a bigger body player like Cripps or Bontempelli and compete 1v1 which frees up our other mids to go to work around stoppage. Massive signing for us.

Yeah...Nashy was no good as the deep forward pocket he started as. Couldn't get the drop of the ball or the bounce and playing forward pocket...you need to judge the ball drop well ala champions like Cyril, Poppy and 'The Master' Luke Breust. Moving Nash into the midfield as Sam did was a superb decision. He is tall.... deceptively so and has amazing reach and core strength. He always has at least a second effort at the ball drop and often three or four. With Meek being another second effort made monster that lets Daysy, Newk, Worps, Wardie and Cam get to work more easily. Connor Nash signing on until 2029 is huge. He will taste premiership glory soon enough. Maybe, just maybe, he'll draw the eyes of the umpires and honour himself with a Norm Smith Medal. I'll be honest...as a forward I said Connor would never make it. Seeing him transition into a gun midfield weapon has been such a delight. Often it is nice to know you were wrong about man in the Brown and Gold of the MIGHTY HAWKS!

@@shannonpincombe8485 Yeah, I am not immune from that too. I always thought Nash would make it but at the same time I thought Worps was going to be a one year wonder. I am happy to be really wrong on that one.

shocking performance against GWS we deserved to miss out of finals based on that. Better luck next time

Hard to see what benefit making the 8 is now? The Richmond, pies and Carlton games will all end up as 75k+ at the G with a knockout element - aka a practice final. Hard to imagine we can win it, get the better draft/trade capital

No chance. We play better football than the higher ranked sides. Have to go for win in every game.

Stop yapping bro we don’t need draft capital we need finals REAL FINALS lol

Make the 8, lose week one to say GWS or doggies, and we will have had a phenomenal season that proved we weren't ready. Come 9th and all anyone will ask is what might have been had we not been so appalling against port. I know which I'd rather have as the conversation around the club come trade week

@@NickPYatesyea but we make the 8 everyone would be excited for the year next that’s what I want people to be scared of hok ball
