Thank you, I’m a landlord and one of my units has this problem in the kitchen. I don’t own a laser though. Hopefully, with a little determination, I can achieve the same thing using a level and some meticulous inspecting. Wish me luck.

Man thank you so much for getting that video out for me. Super cool to see that you guys really do appreciate us and that you respond. I’ve been doing ceilings now for about 3 months and I might have a challenge for you. Have you ever heard of running a ceiling “intermediate”? If so, could you do a video on it? Again thanks for everything!!

randy tyson hey absolutely! Ha sometimes it takes someone’s thought for us to generate an idea of a video for us, I’m sure I would have gotten to it, but as soon as you’d sent it we put it in our pipeline of videos. Just takes some time😎

Hi. thanks for the video. Is there a special tool that could be used to adjust metal tiles once they are in place? They don't always fall back onto the grid nicely.
@mitchellacoustical31192 жыл бұрын
No unfortunately that’s a design flaw of those tiles.

I'd like to see a custom ceiling using furring channel and drywall done. Hung using wire. Great video, thanks

Yea they make grid for that now. It’s 650 grid. Similar install for that as a tile ceiling. But we can make that video

For drywall grid I like to go a 1/16 or an 1/8 higher than level in the field for when you add the weight of the drywall and the wire slacks out. Just my preference. Rockers like to push up and bounce the ceiling
@mitchellacoustical31195 жыл бұрын
chris148825 yea that’s why I wasn’t recommending it for 650, for someone watching thinking they were the same I had to call it out because you and I will know it’s not apples to apples, but someone in their early stages may not. But my guys do that to make the wires taunt.👌🏻

Hello I was wondering I have a new ceiling that is going up or up. And there is about a inch to one inch gap all the way around the perimeter of the wall in each room. A suspended ceiling. That's 580 inch. Should it be attached above the walls for wall support?
@mitchellacoustical3119 Жыл бұрын
If I understand the question correctly you should be fine 4’ off the wall with a wire

How do you move over a suspended ceiling by 150 mm to make it equal at both sides
@mitchellacoustical31192 жыл бұрын
You would have to pop the rivets. Then use this video to keep it level

I always make sure to tie near the corners that way if someone tries to remove a tile they won't damage it 😬
@mitchellacoustical31193 жыл бұрын
Yea absolutely! If you can that makes sense, but sometimes the mechanicals are in the way.

I hate when all a company orders are those short metal/concrete pin with their wire. Those don't do too well on plain concrete or concrete/plaster ceilings. 1-1/2 in. Pins seem to work best for this.
