Prayers for your heat problem solved. I had that happen to me, and was stated a heat pump was over active because I had my heat up too high. I lowered the temp then kicked up the heat. I had to update the filter date as well. Please no snow for Clayton NC.

I just went through the issue with my heat being broken. It was very extreme expensive even when it was so call under warranty. I pray that you will have a honest ac guy come out and help you 🙏

Mitch, praying that your heating issues get resolved soon. I came across your videos by accident a few days ago and now I’m a subscriber. I admire your passion and commitment to what you’re doing. I appreciate your time breaking down the different models. My whole life I’ve always been fascinated by the weather. I was close to pursuing a career path in meteorology but God led me in another direction. Born and raised Delmarva peninsula (Lower Eastern Shore MD). Wish I was back there for the possible big snowstorm this weekend. Currently live in Louisville KY. We’ve been unlucky with the storm track so far as all the significant snowfall has occurred to the south and eastern part of KY. I love the snow, hopefully we’ll get a big snow before the end of Winter.

Prayers that your heater is an easy fix. We woke up Sunday morning to frozen pipes. Three hours later came the sound of running water under the house. Thank God my guys are handy because both my boys and hubby's supervision because he just had shoulder surgery, they had the broken pipe fixed in an hour and they already had the stuff to fix it. I live south of Goldsboro and the weather channel is calling for less than an inch of snow. Interesting to see how things turn out from this storm. Thank you Mitch!

Here in N.H. you have to insulate pipes WELL..Sorry for you plight..Good the guys were able to mend it.. I have a small hardware store in my basement w/ Shark Bite repair sections all over..They are easier to work with.. We had the same problem with our heat and we changed the filter out and surprisingly that worked so try that idk if that’ll work for you but it’s worth a try.

If it's a heat pump check the breaker in your breaker box. The inside fan may be running but the outdoor unit not running if the breaker is tripped.

Your condensation pipe on the outside could be frozen inside so you need to put a pipe foam cover over it and that will keep it from freezing

Did you check your filter ? My heat did the same thing filter needed to be changed caused the furnace to shut down. Hope it’s nothing major. Also hopefully NC gets covered in snow I’m looking forward to this weekend. Keep up the great work.

Mitch shut down the main breaker to the unit change the “run start capacitor” should be on the outside unit fan box or close to it and it’s inexpensive part available locally. Note: I am assuming your not on gas heat good luck brother✌️😎👍

My town is right on the Nor'easter line in northern RI. I hope the Euro model moderates before the storm. We got the most snow in blizzard of 1978 which sounds like this storm is setting up for similar conditions if the Euro sticks. I hope you get your heat back and it's under warranty. It sounds like it's a bad circuit board in your HVAC system.

If the European Model is right it would definitely be a very intense blockbusting super snowstorm for Central and Southern N.J. with blizzard conditions as well. As far South as the Carolina's where you are, and going up the I-95 Corridor to us too. Later on if the other Model's do agree which we still have a few days before the final out come, then it would be more likely which remains to be seen.

Just had that a few years back , my system was a lemon. ...and yep went 4 years without heat putting myself through school, I had to look for other alternatives until I could afford it. Yet I survived and many people are now living in tents and cars unlike no other time..Unfortunately it is going to get alot worse .. If your heating system isn't that old, it should still be under warranty. Look into that. Call the manufacturer if you have too in order to get the information you need.
