It gets real in Daygo. I lived out there from 2001-2013 and they gangbang like it’s the 90’s (atleast in that 2003-2010 era). It was super active. Google “Southeast Bound vol 1” you couldn’t go major black spot without a jumping or a shootout happening. I’m from the Chuey’s aka Work Dat Twerk Dat, Fam Mart, Tina’s, American Legion on 47th era. I even coach at Lincoln High for a couple years. I say that to say, don’t think it’s just bitches and beaches

Same with Boston to NYC and that is why NY cats frontin coming to Boston ended up never returning to Boston or never going back to NYC. Your favorite NY rapper been extorted, robbed, beat down or worse in Boston since the days of Slick Rick. Everybody knows that history. Way too much pride in The Bean. Boston only city that gang banged on the east coast since early 80's and not no Bz and Cz but sports teams reppin each hood. Wrong coat or hat and the end could come quick

That is what gets out of towners all the time, California is one of the last states. So the scenery is new and not as ran down as a East coast or south vibe in the trenches, but the tension is there from decades of gang culture. I went to certain parts of New Jersey and the visual was that of Vietnam but fairly safe. Cali got blocks that look like DisneyLand but active as Vietnam.

Check the photos and murder rates of Jerseys cities. The mafia also has and is there since forever.smh

We the first city to adopt Bloods Pirus and Crips after it all started, we started round the time LA started, We got gangs older than gangs in LA, we do our own thang and we just as active as LA if not more active because we had something to prove being the little brother city to LA. We got shooters out here but Dago mfz out here ain’t gotta problem getting em up rather it be Black, Mexican, White, Asians, Africans. Dago reputables ran multiple prison yards and when the dope game was popping Dago held it down when outta towners was trynna come set up shop and take over the city. Some years later I try to take my Filipina girlfriend to a festival at a shopping center near 54th and Euclid, but when we got there it was taped off because of a shooting. After that we just stayed around Coronado and Pacific Beach. My family's from Denver, and people think it's soft, too. But there's plenty of wolves out there. SDSE Since 1980!!! Talk about PTSD. I grew up during the bloodiest years, remember watching M. Slick hang out with his goons at 4-5 Park Bought a couple houses in Shell Town, then bounced to see the world in 2010 but I visit the homies and family every year. San Diego ain’t near as bad as it used to be. It’s safe now. I still pack though just incase LOL
