@MrMorganOBrien - The Flitzer is a little larger than the Mite Mouse. There are several Flitzers still traveling the fair circuits today. I think the Mite Mouse is all but extinct.

The Mite Mouse was a Mad Mouse, wasn't it? There was a larger version, the Monster Mouse, which included a large drop besides what is seen here, and a tall trun but not much else before it launched into the Mad Mouse ride, which was the same as this, I believe. I rode the wonderful Monster Mouse at Ft. Worth Zoo many times it being 4 hours right up the road in coaster-starved Texas. I've never seen a Mad Mouse themed like this one formerly at Coney.

Is this a "Flitzer"? I remember a ride similar to this at Adventureland in Iowa, but with different theming. I love your old videos!

You are one of the few I know who also rode this thing. I was scared Skitless! I felt like it was "propped up" with cans! How long was it there? I was amazed how small it was and how frightened I felt....even more than the Coney THUNDERBOLT! Hoping it wouldn't collapse in each drop's bottom!

I rode it around 1962, scared me too at 12 YO.

@swampfoxer No they exist... Along with Jungle Mouses they are very common in Asian countries.

@fncz - Lakemont's version is slightly larger with a couple extra zig-zags at the top.

swampfoxer, do you know anything about the Wild Mouse that sat defunct next to Thunderbolt for many years? I tried RCDB, but results under "Coney Island" and "Wild Mouse" are too numerous to wade through right now. I was just wondering if you knew approximately when it operated, opened & closed? Did it operate right where it was next to Thunderbolt? I'm pretty sure it was a Miler Mouse like the one (Cyclone) at Wonderland in Amarillo, TX. Thanks for anything you may know about the Coney Mouse!
