In NZ, we have the DC2 which is the VTI, B18B, VTI-R, B18C(something number, 170hp, bugeye) Type R, B18CR (197HP, straight headlights) then the DC1. 1.6 SOHC ZC, straight headlights. I had a DC1, and now I have a DC2R.

All right this definitely helps. Now I got a 95 EG coupe. It's the EX model. I'm wanting to do a rear disc conversion on it and I was told to get a DC-2 is that correct. Or can I get it off any Integra. Cuz back in the day I had the ugly green with tan interior Integra with the sunroof and I remember it had disc brakes. Just wondering if I could use the rear discs off of that.

If it's not stock engine I think the Integra models and trims don't matter, just interior wise. I mean they all have sway bars and disk brakes front and back. Yeah some sway bars are slightly different sizes but like I said. If it's not stock it doesn matter. Not like the civic where the ex is the only one with sway bars and disk brakes, but if you want a better interior, and many exterior bits get a em1 si...

The way I understand it here in Australia, is that the dc2 and 4 is strictly a year separation thing. Like, integras up to 95 or 96 I think is a dc2 and after that it's a dc4. Correct me if I'm wrong tho 😄

This helps with buying parts from America, but the DC4 isn't strictly American... It's alot different in Australia, we have 3 variants of the integra... The integra GSi, Vti-R and Type R... The GSi is the non Vtec b18b1 and the VTi-R is a vtec b18c2, than there's then insane type R with our variant having the b18c7... Basically the GSi is DC4 The vtir is DC2 And the type R is also known as DC2

rs model- cloth interior with third brake lights ls model- cloth interior but with added cruise control, abs, etc like RS but with little upgrade Gs model is also know as SE. It's just an ls with the interior of a GSR and no additional third brake light because GSR and GS has the brake light on the spoiler. GS is a GSR body without the Vtec. simple as that. nothing very special just more luxurious. early year GSR had optional Ls like seats or leather, but they all switch to having leather for the GS and GSR in the middle of switching obd2a & obd2b to meet Acura's "luxury" standards. Like the Type R it has optional third brake light for when people buy it from the dealer with having the choice of putting on the spoiler or not. correct me if im wrong but some come with and without the third brake light and some doesnt have the rear windshield wipers. U.S. standards causes many mix up. and also from being made in other country like japan, canada, and US. in DAs and Db1s you can see many type of mix of RS through GS models. my RS db1 came with heater and a.c. while some doesnt come with it at all. some candian model dont have a.c. and the climate control buttons can be sliders or led buttons. Db7 and Db8 should have the third brake lights. mainly most sedans come with the third brake light but not sure if some RS model DB7 doesnt come with it.

Dc2 is a gsr or a type r. Dc4 is an ls, Rs, or GS model. The difference between a type r and gsr is the type r has reinforced chassis, different powerplant. Just saved u 5 minutes
