The deck with the skirt helps the footprint of the house look much larger and provides a lot of outdoor living space. I really like this home. I've admired that small round sink, but never cared for how it was installed like a vessel. Setting it into the counter makes the surround much more usable.

Needs an interior staircase to the bedroom and to the deck...what's behind the large white panel in the kitchen, to the left of the pullout cupboard, could be for a pull down Murphy bed...and the outside wooden deck is way too much wood and not enough stone...how much did it cost?

This tiny house makes sense. It seems to me having a bedroom where you can't stand up would get old pretty quickly. Also, the idea that most people will want to move their house is not realistic. It is a fantasy that may be fun to dream about moving your house all over the country, but how many people will say, "I feel like traveling. I know, I'll take my house with me."

It only makes sense if there's only a couple or a single person living inside. With two kids or a teenager, a place without any privacy could turn into living hell.

Yes its cool but I doubt it would have been a large additional cost to add a second bedroom for the toddler or guests on the ground floor.

Judging by the materials and the positioning of the house, they can just simply buy a decently sized modern house, or build one, when the time comes. This wasnt built to save money, it was built to fulfill a dream.

Absolutely beautiful and very clever design, and with two little kids, very brave. But honestly, the major thing about this tiny house other than, like the Tardis in Dr Who, the inside looks much bigger then the outside, is the fact that as the children grow, so can the house. Actually, the parents can get very clever as their children start hitting that stroppy stage, they can build the children an annexe to live in that’s separated from the house... just an idea. I’m close to my sister and her brood, but honestly when they began their stroppy years, I wanted to move away, and thankfully she did to the other side of London with her demonic kids. Seriously, children are only lovely and sweet while you’re still wiping their butts, they are truly horrible people when they are young adults and think that they know everything. So, the separate annexe is likely a very good idea

HOW About the LAWS starting to go against people living in TINY HOUSES? The population should reassemble together and create by thousands, tiny houses in just one single area, creating a new town of more humble people but courageous, with a new way of life with clean, non-polluting principles and be an example to being followed for the rest of the world and have the media backing this up.
