the round brush i am using here is a round 16 proarte connoisseur 100 its a sable and synthetic mix...at first they shed a few hairs which is annoying, but after a few uses it stops and it holds a nice point :)

Your technique for building the painting is memorizing and so magical! I love the painting but really am struck by the perspective. Instead of composing the trees as a whole, including the tops, this is from a lower perspective and showcases the gorgeous trunks and the foliage of distant tress glows in around them. Simply stunning!

ok. blotter paper for the start of the trees, got it. But what's in the little squirt bottle that makes the paint blossom out like that? Water? Alcohol? If alcohol, does that mean you are using acrylic inks in this one as well? Inquiring minds want to know! :)

I love the depth you have achieved with just the three layers. I'd love to know what was in the bottle that you dropped to make the colors spread so quickly.
