Great little camper. Just one tip : drill some holes into the bed base board to alow your mattress to breathe. Otherwise the condensation from you breathing and moisture from you sweating will collect in your mattress and it will get damp and mouldy!

Too bad there are so many critics posting here. Keep up the great work Kris. Looks like a very practical and functional setup in a very capable van for the usage you have. Keep up the great work Kris.

part 1 is exactly what i want to do with my delica. I was thinking of cutting half circles over the wheel wells to extend the platform but the spring idea is great and i bed spilling off the sides isnt too much of an issue. pretty ingenious water setup, definitely taking inspiration there.

Its an old video but you've just saved me hours of planning and designing i'm not sure if this account is still active but if you see this message i want to say thank you i just recently bought a 2002 space gear Delica and have been thinking of ways to do exactly what you've done so once again thank you so much.

Thanks Kris, this really interesting, helpful and inspiring. About to buy a Delica myself and this what brought me to your channel. In turn I have now found your website through your link here and read your story. I also did not slot in to the school system so bunked pretty much all of it but somehow managed to scrape some academic results as a competent musician. I now teach Primary School children the wonder of music as a teacher. Best wishes for all your working on and I'll keep an eye on any future Delica vids you might post (interested in the bio-fuel aspect_). Also like the look of your courses.

Greetings from America. Lovely job. Really nice woodworking. Many times I see the back of the minivan being used as an open air kitchen. That is tough if you are trying to stealth camp but otherwise a purpose made tent that the van backs into solves the problem of rain. Good for a camp site but for the States I don't know. Lots of nice ideas there thank you.

Hi Kris, loving your videos. I have been watching for a couple of years now. I would love to pick your brain on how you have managed to live off grid with such scrutiny on homestead living / off-grid. I have been searching for my own piece of woodland to begin my dream however, I am constantly coming up against problems with residential planning permissions. How did you get round this? Thanks, Thomas.
@andybrown61796 жыл бұрын
Hi kris, I’ve been trying to find this rule about not needing planning permission in Wales for the sort of thing that your doing online, but I’m having difficulty finding anything. Any chance you could post a link with the info I’m looking for please? (Rule 52?) Cheers buddy👍

Hey Kris loving your videos and especially that beautiful house of yours, you’re super inspiring! I just wanted to ask; you mentioned using 80% biofuel in your delica (the greatest van on earth!) I want to get myself one and would be interested in biofuel, just wanted to clarify - Does that mean you use bio 80% of the time and diesel the rest? Or like an 80/20 mix? And for what reason? Cheers!
