Wow that’s a big move. There are a lot of safety regulations but you can be as diligent with them as you want. I’m definitely a lot more safety conscious now than I was 10 years ago 😂 glad you’re liking the videos mate. Good luck with the move.

Did I hear a fellow Fridgy do the Phosgene cough during the Weld? Another great video.

😂 it was good timing. I didn’t smell anything, but maybe I’m just used to it now.

Hi mate, new to the hvac game and came across your video! Ace 👌🏼 just quick question what is the device thingy you put in the water? Linked to the recovery machine
@hvacraustraliaАй бұрын
Hey mate. It’s a great trade to be apart of! Glad you’re liking the videos. It’s a subcooler. When you’re recovering a large amount of refrigerant and jamming it into a bottle eventually it’s gets too hot and your reclaim unit cuts out on high pressure. Either you can cool the tank or use the subcooler to cool down the refrigerant before going into the tank. Using the subcooler is easier than putting a 20KG bottle in a bin full of water 😂

Hey mate, i dont work on Citys too often, Mainly just Daikin VRVs. Do these need to be put through a recovery mode?
@hvacraustraliaАй бұрын
It’s not needed. Most models don’t even have an option to put it in to recovery/evacuation mode. All their VRF’s are two pipe system so you’re pulling from both sides.

I think it was cheaper and more honice to customer, to place a new unit. but nice job anyway
