Ahh yes, the classic Galant. I remember the glory days of Mitsu with this, the Pajero Fieldmaster and the lovable Boxtype Lancer (we had one in automatic, which was also rare in that model year). And you managed to review a pristine, rare AMG! I've never imagined MMC PH bringing one of those locally back then, we can't have it all haha. Those are absolute rare gems. Kudos to the owner 😊 Great memories from these great vehicles. And a top-notch review as well Kyle. Keep it up! 👌

It is a lovely car! As mentioned in the video though, it's not MMC PH who brought this one locally. It is a regular Galant GTI that has been painstakingly and meticulously transplanted into from a legitimate Galant AMG from Japan.

@@KyleLiongCars Yes, I understood it's not locally sold given its limited run (hence my hugot "we can't have it all" 🤣). But it's still a wonderfully-crafted example by the owner. Question though, have you asked the owner about how long did he take to finish this project? I was wondering as well about the costs but I just wouldn't bother, as I understood it's definitely all worth it.

Wow, love this MMC gallant. This was the executive saloon of the GManagers B4 the CEOs. Other than the engine tuned n badges of AMG, the aesthetic is a reminiscent of past glory. Of I have no feel of the AMG driving experience. This is rare gem of Japanese cars. Well done n good find.

Overrated. It says tuned by AMG, true but it was when first purchased. Now its tuned here in the Philippines. Same as any other Galant 4G63 engine.

Tuned by AMG, they upgraded the specs of the pistons. That’s why it produces more HP than the stock 4G63.
