Not sure if you left that washer off, or if you did take the nut off again to put it on there Gary. Great work, those bearings outlast the rubber, so often you find with those that are not available that you can take the whole unit and get the rubber replaced, or do the DIY method using polyutrethane single component sealer. Worked when the noise was bad, but a 3 month delay on getting that centre bearing for a Sierra in, as it was on back order even from Ford. At least that spider was not worn, often enough half the clonk comes from it as well, and not many still can be greased, though the aftermarket ones often come with a bolt in the centre which you replace with a grease fitting.

good day sir, I just have a question, my mitsubishi xtreme rodeo 2.8tdi bakkie does not want to start and on the dash the water fuel warning light is on, I drained the fuel filter by the water tap but the light still blinks and i have to crank about 4 to 7 times to get it running. the engine also switches off while in motion. please can you assist, i do not k ow what to check for to have the bakkie back to normal.

The diesel system may need to be bled as there could be air stuck in the line.
