It should be pronounced 'Star-eon', similar to 'Stallion'. No one knows for certain if this was an issue with Japanese diction.

Actually combination of Star of Orion with the horse of Hercules Aeon. SO yep Ur right on how it suppsoe 2 b said. Look at old skool Mitsubishi Starion commericals hre on YOutube N u can cleary hear the correct pronunciation. There even a logo with a Stallion n Star.
