forgive me if I'm wrong, but as far as I'm aware Pf. Dave does not have a PhD. That being said, as a PhD recipient, assuming he is integrating even 5% of the content he presents, Dave-san could likely do 3-ish months of research and use just those three months to defend a PhD thesis in chem, biochem, and biology, by just emphasizing different discipline-relevant keywords to make it seem like the research was intentionally focused from the outset on that particular discipline.
