Thanks for this video! I watched the sixtyfiveford one and yours came up in my feed. I made one yesterday with your method but with my own improvements. Oxo can opener (no sharp edges) on several old cans of different sizes provided me with three different sizes of lids. Stacked those and fender washers both sides. Threadlocker on the nut and it worked great! I have a bunch of scrap rubber sheet roofing and cut some to fit inside the can so I could secure spray cans inside for the upside down rotations. I don’t use this for spray paint cans (yet) - I use it for other spray cans that have solids inside like spray lithium grease, garage door spray lubricant, Fluid Film, etc. tested those out yesterday and it definitely improved the product coming out. 🙏🔧👍

Take an empty spray can and apply oil or grease to the outside and place it in the shaker. Fill the void with silicone and let it set up. Drill a couple small holes near the bottom of the shaker can to prevent the vacuum effect when trying to remove the spray can. If you have a spray can straw in your junk draw, you could put it in the vent hole to prevent the silicone from closing the vent hole when removing the spray can.

A great trick. I've seen this a few times on KZbin by various people. I like yours best because the can is a perfect fit, recycles, and it's a cost saver. The only thing you didn't mention is the Swing-A-Way can opener. Man, I love those things! I can't tell you how many cheap, and not-so-cheap pieces of junk can openers that I bought at various stores then threw away because they broke or quit working. My mom had a Swing-A-Way she used for 20 or 30 years and it worked flawlessly every time. They just don't make them any better.

Makes for great hair gel. Textures walls and will coat your under carriage when youre freeballin under your baggy shorts and lay the thing on the floor to try and escape its wrath. In an emergency situation i took a condensation drain pan from an ac/heat air handler. The pan was u shaped. Mounted directly under the A coil and directly above the heaters flame unit. The ac was 20 plus yoa. The pan was non existant. Half was corroded away the rest had pits and holes all over. My boy didnt have money for one and the couple i had wouldnt work. I used plastic metal. Body pit and fine detail putty sprayed it with epoxy primer then coated with flex seal white. This was to make it to winter. Under no cicumstance was he to turn the heat on. Late nov in arlington tx im working on the house he shows up. Ive got ac blasting. I finish and leave. He gets cold. Turns on gas heater. 6" flames directly on the pan and heat shields. He called 15 mins later and i heard the gas valve click on or off. I said i know your dumb ass didnt turn the heater on. Yes why not. Hed allready left. Heater on full throttle. I turned around and hauled ass back expecting to see fire trucks. Nothin. Went in. No smoke no smell. Opened the closet removed the front cover not a burn mark. Nothing melted. It made it thru that winter till he sold the place in the spring. I know this was long winded but this truly is an amazing product. Most people think giving a can a ten second shake is all that’s needed. Truth is, you need to shake that can well for at least a minute if not more to ensure a fine spray with no splatters and an even colour blend. This is especially important when using thicker blends such as hammer finishes, stone finish, crack sealers etc. which should be shaken for much longer. This simple devise does the job quicker and with less pain in your arm and shoulder as well as thoroughly mixing the contents. Great idea and good job my friend.
