I'm 55 and getting back into the into the coin and paper hobby. Been a long time since I've done this and things sure have changed. I used to dig around old abandoned buildings to find coins.

I just went through a penny box. My best finds yet. A 1907 Indian Head Cent and 21 wheat cents. A great looking clean and orange colored 1945 and a well circulated 1920 D. Happy hunting!!

Need advice. I have some badly corroded nickels from 1939 to 1958...nothing of high value. Would like to clean them up considerably, realizing they will never have serious value regardless of what I do...so, given that, I want them cleaned up. What is the best method that will yield good results, please.

Rob, I have a 1982 dime with a "P" MM. The 2 in the date is just barely recognizable. The coin is in very good condition. Do you think it would be worth me shipping it off to be graded? If so, who do you recommend that I send it to? Thanks for your help!

Hey Rob I was going through my fathers small old penny collection and I found a penny book that goes from 1941-1974 but its made in 1949. I'm confused how it's made in 49 but knows of the new Lincoln back 9 years later

I bought a mixed bag yesterday, $50 in nickels, $30 in quarters and $20 in half’s... I found a war nickel and a whole bunch of 30’s and 40’s nickels... and today I bought 100 in nickels and got 2 more war nickels lol was my first time coin roll hunting, think it was beginners look..

Funny story, this one time we were in science class. We were seeing how much water a penny could balance before it fell. Teacher gave me a 1955 wheat penny for the experiment. So that was lucky. I got to keep it.

I have a personal theory why it SEEMS that the 1958 cents are usually in fairly good shape. People knew they were going away and put them all away. Just a theory.

Hey Rob. I have a pre world war 2 1934 wheat penny with no mint mark. I've tried to look it up and I can't anything on the makeage of how many of 34's. would you be able to help a starter coin hunter out?

Hey Paul - would LOVE to help out! Welcome to the awesome community! Here's the 1934 Penny Mintages: 1934 P = 219,080,000 1934 D = 28,446,000 In Good condition they are worth roughly 15-20 cents, but if they are in much better shape they can fetch a buck or more!

For the way I found it I'm surprised it's not destroyed but it's got a nice fatina age to it. So I believe for a wheat penny that's 84 yrs old it's in really good condition but not perfect. I want to get it graded and see how high of a grade it gets
