Thanks for that. Yes the top end of the herd are bred to sexed semen. With the lower end being bred straight to beef.

Do the Jersey cows give birth to the Angus cross calves easily?

Hi, yes we’ve always found them to calve down fine. Possibly slightly more difficult than a jersey calf but we barely notice a difference.
