I think we see enough of Umair Rana but not enough of Atiqa Odho. In every episode, when Sarwar is confidently lurking around the house brainwashing Abdullah, where is the mother? How has she never walked in on any of these shady situations? Does she work? Is she a housewife? Why is she not around? Nothing is clear! She got suspicious of Sarwar and for a couple of episodes kept a close eye on things, but why has she disappeared suddenly and left the field open for Sarwar? This makes absolutely no sense to me.

tbh as of now, for me, abdullah has become a very toxic character. He doesn't have a backbone but that doesn't give him the right to scream and shout and majbeen like she's nothing. Saying romantic things is not enough in a marriage. He has shouted and put her down more than once, and he has also lost majbeen's trust because he keeps flip flopping his promises. Although, in my heart, I love them as a couple, but abdullah has become an off putting character for me. Shanzey is just really annoying, I don't like her acting at all, and she has single handedly ruined the show for me tbh, cause I forward all her scenes. Hope abdullah will get back to his senses, but i wouldn't be mad if majbeen left. She's better off without him and is much smarter than abdullah thinks she is. Also, hats off to Kashf, because that has become my favorite drama surpassing pyar ke sadqay. Every episode has meaning and a lesson to be learned. I wish you guys also reviewed ghalati because that drama portrays the true meaning of women empowerment.

Hassan, I am so glad that you poninted it out, THEY CHANGED THE ENDING. The voice over scene was changed and in the end, where they are on horses, there is a scene in 1st teaser, where amaan comes after aina, riding the horse and then they both are together on their horses at the exact same place. There was dialogue in the last episode's promo 'Daryabagh se Daryabagh ka safar khatam hua' which wasn't in the episode.

The last episode of YDM was for 10 minutes only but I found the ending very realistic. Aina did need time to get her trust back. After all the two men she loved didn’t turn out to be what she had loved them for. She felt betrayed and used. Both needed catharsis to take control of their lives. Although, as a viewer , l wished Mir Farooq was punished a little longer, but then it would have increased Aina’s anguish , and her returning back to Amaan more difficult, emotionally. The good parts were the cathartic moments when both are shown striving to regain peace and order into their lives from the chaotic, emotionally exhausting experiences by doing social work. There was a strong hint that all was not over between them and that they would get together at the right time. She was shown taking care of Amaan’s house as the lady of the house. I also liked the monogram at the end, living for revenge does not give one peace of mind. In, thora sa Haq, I was happy for Hareem. At last she regained her self respect and decided to get out of a toxic relationship with no love. You cannot force a man to love you. The good message was, life is much more precious to waste over a man. Live it to the fullest. What happened to Seher’s Qasam, btw.🤔

Abdullah's character is well potrayed. His fretting in neck tie scene is his love for Mahjabeen because in his mind a constant coflict is on. He loves her and more comfortable with her but Shanze is echoing. He only dreamt of Shanze and that too madly. Now her being in access is now confusing him

I have so much to say about this last episode...! I don't have a problem with Amaan and Aina staying apart and the "philosophical ending" but this episode was shot extremely poorly! The director haphazardly added mountains and cinematic shots to make us happy and distract us from the issues in the episode - *lack of material* It was as if, there were no shots with main leads together so they showed us separate unrelated scenes and called it an episode. In the beginning, the screen was black and Aina just screamed....There must have been some footage of her having a mental breakdown/panic attack so what happened in editing/post production?! They couldn't add 2 minutes of her experiencing loss and betrayal and wasted the episode in useless flashbacks? I totally understand Aina being disappointed by the actions of two men in her life. She could not forgive them for what they did and how they did it but everyone just completely disappeared. Her khala just left her in turmoil - did not even try to bond with her and help her. Bua's character was great in the beginning - she had a purpose - to protect Aina and be a mother figure to her. But her character developed so negatively - she had no reason to remain in the drama after she left the Agha mansion. Also, Amaan did not need a reminder that he loved Aina. Aina needed the reminder. And what was with that mysterious look in the hospital - they should have changed his look - it's supposed to be a sad sympathetic moment from Amaan cause even if Agha "jaan" was a cold-blooded killer he was still her father. I feel like there is a scene from a previous episode and they showed her anger that she felt before she knew the truth at the cottage. Her anger, guilt, shame would have made sense but there was nothing substantial in this shot. Such disappointment! What was this? Why did they use the director to become a "narrator" in the ending when he wasn't a narrator in the beginning? - It would have made sense to use Amaan's voice to say those lines realizing what he did was wrong. Need I say more? P.S. I don't mean to offend any viewers but this is my opinion. Thanks.

YDM's end wasnt as satisfying as I was expecting.. They could have fleshed it out over a series of episodes instead of revealing everything at once. And having said that, they didnt even reveal everything to Ana. 1. Agha Jaan had remarried 2. Agha Jaan killed his second(assuming) wife too. 3. Motive behind Agha Jaan murdering Aman's family, his lecherous intentions for Aman's mother 4. Motive behind AJ murdering his wife 5. That Aman had to go through physical and mental abuse after losing his family(that might have helped her a little in forgiving Aman) Aina just got to know that he murdered Neelo.. and by the end it felt like she had kind of forgiven AJ. Aman asks her to meet AJ before he is gone forever. If she did meet her(which wasnt shown to us) then that means she forgave AJ. Which wasnt done. It was an easy escape for Mir Farooq. I would have preferred that he lived with the guilt and knowing that Noor-e-Jaan hates him the most in the world now. Tat would have been his punishment. Good Premise,good acting, but bad bad execution and conclusion.

The ending of Yeh Dil Mera was not as people were expecting it to be.They messed up the ending.Amaan was the most suffering character in the whole drama and Aina didnot treat him well.Mir Farooq deserved the *most brutal punishment* for his deeds but he died an "Easy death",he was just exposed in front of his daughter and decided to die.Aina never knew about Mir Farooq's second marriage. The Moral at the end of the Drama made it look like Amaan was wrong in his pursuit of revenge.He never actually wanted to kill Mir Farooq.He just wanted to exposs him in front of his daughter and the whole world.If the entire ending note is taken seriously,it will undermine Amaan's PTSD,it will also make him look like a culprit who couldnot forgive. The ending was literally disappointing whereas the whole drama was absolutely Amazing. Sajal Aly,Ahad Raza Mir,Adnan Siddiqui,Meera Sethi,Zarnish Khan and Paras Masroor were phenomenal throughout the drama...their acting was LIT!

Amna is right..komal tariq was very famous in lahore..went with a friend to visit her in college..it was said that she talked to jinns.. I also want to point out this shrine trend in our plays which is increasing now. Our plays have a great influence and in a deteriorating society bcoz of these pir babas and shrines, is it wise to propagate this culture? Why can't they simply show a person praying..why overdramatize it. How low will they go to increase ratings.

It would have made more sense if she had gone to her father's or mother's grave. How do actors justify this when they read the script? "... Then Sehar ends up at a mazaar because it makes her look good as she raises her fine hands to God,... Okay got it, got it, perfect." Maybe Aiza appreciates that Mazars raise one's spirits. That's why Mehwish from mpth had also chosen a Mazar to seek redemption. Sehar came from the Mazar (1st episode, 1st scene) and ended up at the Mazar in the final scene. The writer could have written, "Sehar abb bhi usi mazar jati hai jahan woh bachpan mein jaya karti thi. Aur Mazar se Mazar tak ka safar khatam hua."

I don't quite agree when Abdullah is called a weak man. Although he is one from all the perceived angles but we must not forget how he has been treated by Sarwar. He's being psychologically tortured and bullied which is why we experience constant fluctuations in his commitments. His confused personality is a reason of a damaged childhood. A person with such a history may appear helpless and confused so let's not overlook that fact here.

Ali Baksh was a brainless loyal character. He just followed his master's instructions throughout his life and killed his master following his last instruction. Nothing wrong in it. Agha Jaan never had the guts to kill anyone himself including committing suicide so he instructed Ali Baksh. This is a masterpiece story ruined by the director.

Okay, so i just wanted to put this out there, #YeDilMera was an amazing drama and no matter how the execution was, it still is appreciated by millions. The entire team of #YeDilMera is appreciated including Ahsun Talish, Sajal Ali and Ahad Raza Mir. They all did an amazing job with the direction and acting. No doubt the last episode was a bit flawed but still i highly appreciate every effort put into it. A Phenomenal job was done by the lead characters and i must say this was probably THE BEST drama serial on Hum Tv (excluding Yakeen ka safar xD) Anyways, We all hope to see dramas like #YeDilMera on Hum Tv.

I personally loved the ending of YDM. It wasn’t a cliche ending of amaan being forgiven and everything being normal cause it simply can’t be. Ana went through something traumatic and wanted to move on and while she clearly loved amaan, she also needed to start fresh and doing that with the person partially responsible for that wouldn’t be possible. The ending was beautiful and refreshing, although executed badly. But obviously most of the Pakistani audience won’t understand that since everyone wants a happy ending lol

Ana should have apologized to Aman for all the sufferings he experienced because of her agha jaan and then she could chose to live apart. But making him wait for her every day at the door just because he lied to her to take revenge from her father seems quite snobbish and self centred behaviour . I started watching muqaddar because of the cast and strong characters but I can’t deal with it anymore. It is so disgusting to watch an older man imposing himself on a girl who is his captive and is tolerating his “romance” because she is scared for her cousin’s life . I understand why you can’t review dushman e jaan but I would suggest watch it at your own pace and in your personal time ( not for reviewing purpose) just to enjoy some good acting and different characters which are again grey but likeable. Amna for the whole episode of pyar kay sadqay I couldn’t figure out what to call Abdullah , when you said Ullo ka Patha , i laughed so hard because that is exactly the word I was looking for 😂

I have a suggestion for Pakistani directors. Just like we are so inspired and impressed with Turkish dramas, similarly they should really take a look into Korean dramas. They also stretch out dramas but they do it so well. Stretching a drama isn’t so bad if they don’t ruin the mood of the drama pace.

I loved the last episode of Ye dil mera, what a beautiful episode it was. It was way too soothing full of love, emotions amd strength. Aina performance was too good. The director show her a strong girl. She was so composed, instead of crying she started handling the business and then wind it up and went to open a hospital and school on darya bhag. And when she said it to Ahad..... Your love is like Agha jaan you both used me at the name of the love. It was the whole story, she lost her faith in love, yes we can not deny how Mir Farooq loved her. I loved the last scenes. Both of them love each other, still in love but definitely need time for themselves. Thank God the writer kept the ending open but showed that both still feel for each other.

I expected Aina to be atleast a little empathetic towards Aman after she found out that all his allegations were actually true, specially when she just went through the same kind of pain just at the moment. She lost one parent, and he had lost both parents and a sister, that too in childhood. I understand that Aman still lied to her and faked his love initially (which is wrong) but still she should have considered his pain atleast when she found it out finally. I mean they stretched this 'fighting track' of theirs about Aina not believing Aman for around 6-7 episodes and then when finally when she was proven wrong and he was proven right, there was not even a single dialogue between the couple about Aman's family being murdered by her father. Atleast something like 'I know and fully understand u've gone through torture by my father but it wasn't my fault as I didn't know about it' was sooo necessary!!

@@mahammansoor8684 Yes I get your point that she was betrayed by the two most important men in her life, but Aman's betrayal was nothing in comparison to Mir Farooq's betrayal. In fact Aman had realized that Aina is a lovely, innocent girl and he shouldn't do this with her and that is why at a point he even refused to marry her. But it was Aina who was crazily wanting to marry him even though he warned her that she might regret it later. Nonetheless, they got married and all he wanted was to expose her father's true face to her. In that process, she went through trauma but that was mostly coz of her father, while Aman was always there for her and we know that he genuinely loved her from a very long time. On the other hand, Mir Farooq, being her father, ALWAYS lied to her, killed her mother, step mother and so many other people as well!

The reason that shanzy was unable to stay in the marriage and was able to see his husband's flaws was when she saw Abdullah treating mahjabeen well and she goes deep in the guilt that she left him that's why she is stuck with this person eesa.. and thus she tries to get back to Abdullah for the same sense of affection she saw between Abdullah and mahjabeen.. she is a selfish soul who just wants to get anything she thinks of..

Loved the review. I totally agree with Hassan that the execution of our dramas are terrible especially Thora Sa Haq. I salute you guys for watching this drama, I saw the last ep and was horrified. Rabia Tai definitely didn’t deserve this ending, she was probably the only one making sense in this drama. When I saw the last ep of Ye Dil Mera I was very upset bcz it particularly didn’t have a happy ending( being a huge sahad fan) but when I saw your review it made a lot of sense to me. Although I think this drama was dragged very much, it could’ve been wrapped up in 25 episodes easily. Excellent performances by Ahad, Sajal and Adnan. Plz do review Muqaddar. Eagerly waiting for the Haute Bites.

I actually didn't care about YDM ending. Forwarded most of the episode. And I know this will be an unpopular opinion but I didn't think much of Sajal's acting or Ahad's acting for that matter. Even Ali Baksh killing Mir Farooq was ridiculous. And everyone seems to understand Anaa's anger towards Amaan, but what about Amaan hating Anaa for not believing his truth till the end.

Madeeha Ayub Like you, I was disappointed with the serial. When they started choreographing the recall of memory of a 5 year old girl, it went off the rails. The story from this point lost credibility and was reduced to a mere fictionalized narrative . Sajal's acting "waters by fits and starts" as she can give a good performance and revert to her default facade of a deer caught in the head lights: a blank stare with those big beady eyes which is now become her trade mark. She crosses the line from good acting to hysteria when she starts screeching when questioning Buaji. The ending is an anticlimax and may be defers to the ethos of some form of feminism.

Hassan i just want to ask you that why in our dramas villains either go mad or commit suicide? Why our writers don't opt for court and law? This drama would have been even greater if everything was taken to the court and mysteries should have been revealed in the court slowly. That way it would have become a thriller but unfortunately our writers always go for the easy option. They don't want to research and put some effort to make it a thriller like a Hollywood show

I mean, I was really impressed with her "khitaab' in episode 8, jis main she bitterly showed mirror to abdullah to choose someone who NEEDS him, who is below him, who deserves him.. That was really harsh, but that was true too. Being a strong-headed girl, she was right at her part and i totally endorsed her. And now this 360 degree personality twist, matlab what the hell bhai!! Kahan to tu usay ayena dikha rahi thi, aur kahan tu ab marr rahi hai for a person you never loved! This can never be a reality!

Sorry I disagree with both of you. The ending of YDM was not good. Aman was in pain since childhood and he deserves a happy ending. He did not take any revenge from Aina, so why she was upset from him. Even he pushed back Aina from marriage, and warned her. But Aina took the responsibility of all the consequences (if u remember that scene when Aman refused to marry her). Secondly there are 10000s of films we have watched on this theme that hero took revenge from villain and gets involved in his daughter. And the heroine came know about the bad face of her father. The ending should have not been open ended BUT very much clear with HAPPY ENDING.

There is no concept of forgiveness in such cases. Mir Farooq was a criminal and he not only killed Aman's family, Aina's mother but so many other innocent people like his manager, Sarah and many more. He was always afraid of Aina and society seeing his real face. And that's what Aman did. He unveiled his real face and I don't think revealing a criminal is a revenge. He must have gone to prison and given phansi. He never loved his daughter. He made her live in a nightmare and didn't let her be independent and strong. Aman gave her independence and strength so she could find out the truth. Aman was a little harsh on her but that was for her benefit as she can face the reality of life. Not like his Agha jan who made her overly sensitive. Aman told a few lies but who doesn't? I mean every one of us speak lies and that's why Aina lost her trust in him, I mean it is ridiculous. To be honest, YDM had a strong story with poor execution and direction, and a worst ending which does not give any relief to the victim characters nor to audience.

If Yeh dil mera would have ended in episode 32, the impact would have been better. Like the whole sequence of Anna confronting his dad and then Agha jaan dying would have felt better if it would have happened in the same episode. Rather than the whole sequence happening in episode 32 and then Agha jaan dying in episode 33.

Shanzey's husband had put her down so much that she has very low self esteem now. She is after Abdullah not just because she wants to feel good about herself but also she cannot bear him to be happy, someone she told would never achieve anything in life seemed to have a better life than her, in terms of Marriage. The father should have told her to give this all a time. The reason that she isn't giving all this a time is why she looks to be abnormally obsessed with someone she couldn't have imagine her life with earlier.

Really waisy ap k reviews dhekhny k baad I myself feel that now I note minor details as a critic and I enjoy reviews also. YDM ended up, really I don't understand k Amaan beechary ka Kya qasoor tha. Just look at his trauma, he was so young when he witness the murder of his parents and sister, all his life he was burning in that fire , aur us ko Anna say pyar hogya , he didnt do anything bad to Anna, basically he is good and kind hearted, it's in his genes being son of so good patents. Isiliay wo shadi say pehly Anna ko mana bhi karta hay k muj say shadi na karo, Anna kis bat ki saza day rahi hay Amaan ko, she spend whole life in luxury, us ko Amaan say apologise karna chahey tha, or at least try to understand his pain. Her mother was good but does she has inherited something of his father , just in her genes . Waisy I like Anna don't want degrade her. Anyway it was a good drama, new concept so credit goes to whole team. Aur in PKS, The characters we want to see more wo nazar nahe aty , Mansoora aur us ki beeti Abdullah' s sister is out of seen and you guys didn't mention that as she is the one who supports Abdullah and help him in better decisions , aur Mahjabeen nay to buhat groom kar lia apny ap ko , love her character 💕, aur Shanzy k character say I 100% agree with your review , no need of her more

Yeh Dil Mera's Ending wasn't bad at all .I know we were longing for a ' Amaina' reunion but the reason Aina didn't go with Amaan was evident. Her trust on Amaan wasn't broken it was shattered and Aaghajaan too. She was betrayed by 2 people she loved the most. She couldn't be in a normal relationship with Amaan or Aaghajaan because she was as a pawn in their chess. She chose to stay by him but not with him. In the end there are many stories that we hear each do not have a happy ending but that doesn't mean they were bad.

Ye Dil Mera after episode 25 turned to "Ye Disappointment Mera" except few scenes that you can count on your fingers. There was absolutely no excitement for me in the finale. The justified mental conditions of Ana and Amaan became meaningless towards the end.
