Thank you for your videos! I really appreciate how you talk about the work and not about your cat or kids like so many of these videos do, it makes me want to watch every minute, I also love how you say what your materials are. simplicity is so appealing and it really inspires me to try whatever your trying. I subscribed as soon as i heard your voice and straight forward style.

I'm also happy to have found you. I was watching another person with similar techniques however your voice is calming and grounding which I need being a double Libran with a Sagitarian moon sign. I'm often floating off into the ethers. I've been collecting corrugated cardboard and was going to use it stuck down in my collage but didn't think of it as a stencil as well.

Unfortunately, I totally agree. If an artist chooses to not speak, either directly or voiceover, then music is fine - I just mute it and watch. But, when you’re speaking, and explaining your thought processes, I’m really interested; I still have to mute you though because the music is fighting your lovely, soothing voice, and largely winning. Really fantastic pieces though, I love your colour & pattern choices - I just wish I knew what your ideas were behind them - the subtitles help to some extent though.
@micheleholdenart3 жыл бұрын
@@xVentax Thank you for the comment. I will at least make sure the music is set to a lower volume so not to interrupt the narration.
@ochervelvet96872 жыл бұрын
I had the opposite reaction. I found the music lovely and soothing, and it never obscured the artist’s voice.

@micheleholdenart2 жыл бұрын
It does at first. Just keep going. Try different alternating layers of marks in different areas of the substrate. Thin, thick, lighter, darker, sharp,soft, etc. This will begin a composition you did not even plan.
