You are the first professional artist to talk candidly about the ugly phase. I'm the beginning of my journey I would start out loving something, then at some point it would turn and is throw it away. A couple slipped through in the closet or drawer and when I saw them later I couldn't remember why I hated them? That was when I made a rule to never throw away my work without giving it a time out. Ok, so I decided I wanted to attempt collage. I figured the first step was educating myself about the correct art supplies. I've been reading, watching videos, and spending hours in the craft stores feeling confused. The more I learned, the more I wanted to scream!
