Mixed Media Art - How to Begin (Yes, Again!)

In this video, I demo another strategy I use when I have a hard time getting started. It seems to be a never-ending battle for me and I'm not alone. I'd love to hear your ideas for getting started.

I agree the new Azo Gold is very close. Love your results ! You really can't go wrong with that color palette!

Love some of those colour combinations and mixes. I find I have to go with the flow with arting! It's like a sine wave for me.

Some great tips, Pam.I dislike being in that"I can't be creative" mode. And I'm guessing most of us are thinking were alone with it. But every artist Ive ever talked with occasionally goes thru the same feeling

Does seem like we all go through those dry spells, doesn't it Lynn? If only we could be our best creative selves all the time, right?! I suppose that is unrealistic....as in life there are creative ups and downs. We just need to encourage each other to keep going!

I was disappointed to hear that Golden had discontinued Nickel Azo Gold too but i guess its because they could no longer get one of the main ingredients, but they do have an Azo Gold that I bought and it seems pretty similar. Having said that, I was back visiting family out of state a month ago and went into the local Michael's Art store and I found one small 2 oz fluid of NAG and you better believe I snapped that puppy up on the double! Lucky me! P.S. just became a follower of yours recently and I'm loving your videos! Keep up the great work 🙂
